Plans sound good, what company is the glass by??? Request OEM (unless the price is a huge difference) or PPG.

Let me run outside and look....
ATI is the only label I can find anywhere on it. I think I will request OEM unless like you said, the price difference is effin' huge. I just want it to look like the rest of the windows
Also, inspiration for my car:

I like the grill on it but I dont like the way it sits at an angle like that. Otherwise... do it!

tiny mirrors?

Actually, after seeing Knights car in person, I'm liking the camber a bit. However, I wont be doing it because of premature tire wear and it handling worse than it already does.
The grill is one thing I've been absolutely in love with since the day I saw it… however, it's quite the rare JDM piece so I doubt I'll ever get my hands on one. But good god would I love too… bB headlights are also required to run a firesports grill.
Tiny mirrors no. They don't look bad, but they don't look good either.
The biggest thing is I love the drop, the wheels, grill, clear bB glass panels, and the FAB wing. (It's just a fatass version of the stock wing.)
But, enough drooling over someone else's car, glass doctor called me today. They're having a sheet of PPG glass sent over already and priced out the OEM pane as well. It's $300 on top of what I already paid.

so fuck that
All I need to do is head up there at some point, check out the PPG, pending it's a lot smoother, just give them the go-ahead to install it. They're another place that fucking closes at 5 as well, so that's fun.

At this point I'll probably save Liz the pain in the ass of running my errands, and take a day off to get it all done.

Love the wheels and the wing, hate the grill.
Also, how are people running negative camber on the rear of these cars since they run a solid swing arm axle?? Shims?

(not the shims working behind the counter at the harrisburg west)

Grill I'd love more if it was shaved with the emblem.
and yup, shims are preciously what they use to achieve any sort of rear camber.

I don't like the grill because it seems to sit in front of the headlights.

Saturday I get to get the glass switched out in my car. Hoora!
Also, contacted Bean Garage again about my seat covers... Clazzio says they're on the way across the ocean now and It'll only be a little longer
It's been 15 weeks now when it was only supposed to be 8.
Got I'm a patient person

Wait... so we're taking the box to get the glass swapped then to the store, or store first? If we do store first, we can drink the booze I'm buying while we wait.

Mind you, we have to be at glass doctors before like 10am.
Come to think of it... I'm ok with drinking that early.

As am I. Provided my tat is done by then so I won't PMS all over Cassie's arm.

Glad you're getting different glass. I have ATI on my neon and it's actually not as bad as some other glass, but PPG has a nice product.

Fun times, fun times.

I feel like it should be noted that the screaming pic is totally a joke. His gf Cassie was giving me my first tattoo on my leg.

Opi... by chance... is Cassie bringing her tattoo setup to WA?

I feel it should also be noted that I made Josh's box scrub the tire in an area it never has before. Apparently 300 pounds of pudding in the passenger seat is too much.

i had 3 "hefty" friends in the Coupe a little over a month ago, and the rear fenders rubbed the tires all the way to the Dwight Yoakam concert we went to... i have rings all the way around both rear tires and rubber on the fenders.

I doubt your "hefty" friends weigh anywhere near what I do.
Posted: Thu Jul 29, 2010 2:43 pm
by TNK
all 3 were over 250. that's 750+lbs in the car, aside from me at 175. and mind you, even with just me in the car, the fenders kiss the tires over any bump in the road.

So I have 50ish pounds on your friends. I win.

Posted: Thu Jul 29, 2010 2:51 pm
by TNK
yeah, but combine the 3 of them and 750+ > 300
Posted: Thu Jul 29, 2010 2:53 pm
by TheRandom1
But they were spread out, not all combined into one seat.
Posted: Thu Jul 29, 2010 3:01 pm
by TNK
dude. there's no "spread out" in a Neon. but if you want to get technical, 500lbs in the backseat > 300lbs in the front seat.
