After some discussions with cbjones, I decided to start a project log. Finally getting the extreme car show look out of my system, Im going for the srt swap. Engine wise Im good as I have a custom system from turbonetics and some internal builds so Im focusing on the exterior first.
Here is a couple of transformations I did

It's ugly as hell, but I also understand you went for the xtreme show theme, and I can dig that. From what I can see, the work looks good. Any interior shots?

Josh I had the nice neon look but got no respect at car shows even those that were just neons so I took it to another level. More pics of work being done tomorrow.
Update
I had to order some bolts to replace the ones I broke and brackets for the radiator and tomorrow it's back to sanding of the flame graphics off. Pics up tomorrow

Here are some updated pics

I ordered some carbon fiber to redo my whole dash and door panels. Thinking if I should redo the seats and change the white to black or keep them as is. Also order the front sway bar from the SRT. I was going to order the rear but I think my stock is a little thicker..but I could be wrong. Count down is on gotta get this all done in exactly two months.

well its been over a year and I have time now to bring this project log back to life.
So things to be done
carbon fiber my front end (front bumper, front fenders)
ordering cf hood and trunk (carbon by design combo)
carbon fiber roof overlay
replacing stock items
smoothing out and repairing widebody
finishing interior carbon fiber pillars
replacing dash frame and carpet
various other mods planned
First off I need to replace my upper tie bar and remove the various fender bolts that I broke during one of my HULK out modes.

this a confused neon with rsx headlights? is every show car required to have a freakin ricer bodykit and fast and furious interior?

@stairmaster..that setup was along time ago..2001-04 when they really didnt make anything for neons. The reason I went that route was because there was only three bodykits out when I started the xenon, evo 3, and the andys auto sport kit. All were being shown by Roberto trinadad and neon America. If anybody knows how Roberto and his crew came to car shows then you knew you were not going to win that day. So I went extreme with my show style. It dosent look like that now besides the wide body. So everybody with a bodykit is a ricer??? so be it you have your own opinion but thanks for the comments anyway

No while your car may not be my taste the work must of been endless that went into it looks like great amount of time has gone into it. Ricer is a mind set not a car style!

project threads MUST have LOTS of pics.... I don't really care for the wide body but that was the thing back then, I know, and the work is very clean. Can't wait to see where you take it now.
