LOL, thats my step papa... lol.
Nope, no motor... guess the guy had a funeral to deal with today. Had VERY poor communication with me though. I'm patient enough if you communicate with me and let me know what's going on.
Supposedly he wants to meet tomorrow and said he feels bad... if he has any other parts I need, he'd toss them in for free....
We shall see...at this point, I don't even know if he has a motor or not.. I've been bs'ed enough today.

Is that one of those PT crate motors you posted a while back? Damn you, if they were more affordable I would have grabbed one.

More affordable? A brand new long block for $1700.
I'll post my pics of it when it gets in.. but it looks like art to me
I haven't seen a SRT motor with 0 miles on it in a long while.

Shipping to me made it less affordable John, otherwise I would have been all over it.

not familiar with these pt crate motors, are they just stock or do they have stuff done to them?

It's a stock PT GT motor... IE: SRT-4 motor with a different intake manifold/thermostat housing and dip stick.
So I'll swap my misc parts over and sell my block with turbo, etc for like $500

yeah i know its an srt motor but when you hear the term "crate engine" usually they add performance parts to them thats why i was confused.

Not always, there are two types of crate engines. Crate stockers, and crate "performance" engines.

Need to update this just to keep the log somewhat up to date...
Anyhow, the crate arrived, I installed said crate parts.... it has 800 miles on it and it's running great.
I also replaced axle seals as well.
I had a wideband and DSP tuner to install but I decided against it. I'll leave the car as it is mod wise... (maybe get some wheels later on) but performance wise, it stays as is.
I'll get a house in a year or so and then a toy to race on the weekends (turbo foxbody or something)
So, I think we're up to date.
I just detailed the car today really good for the Modern Performance meet tomorrow.... I'll post pictures this weekend.
Then I replaced all the rotors and pads.
Then, someone smashed one of my fog lights so I made my own home made fog light deletes out of plexiglass and painted the inside of it black. Looks good to me...
Not the greatest pic of it...but here ya go

Someone just randomly broke your foglights? WTF!? WEird. Atleast it wasn't something more $$$. Engine bay looks great!

Thanks guys... yea it had to be someone intentionally.
I drove around town (no speed limits over 45) and the next day I went outside and my fog light was broken.
When I took the good one out....with the lamin-x over lay, I can hit the lens down on the concrete and still not chip it. So, I doubt a rock shot up and destroyed the whole lens and all.
Also:
Today when I was cleaning the car for the meet, I painted all the yellow junk in the bay black.
