They probably can, but I doubt you/us without the software can.FAC3L3SS wrote:
That's what I figured Derek. Didn't think it was like a JET Chip rofl. I wonder if I can "de-tune" it.

Correct Jerry. The owner half-ass told me when I was leaving, then texted me later about it. I wanna post up somewhere for some help, but I'm a newb and will get flamed and need to search. It can wait, it's just running mad rich. If I could "de-tune" this ECU, I'd rock it and just hold out for a swap altogether. K20 FTW, but a LS swap seems to be the most feasible for me.

BUMP for an update, but without ANY pictures.
Dropped the car off @ 8a today for windah tint. Thirty percent all around (not on the front, nor did I get a gay strip). So....as Bub-Rubb would say "woot WOOOT!"
Also, I've done some crazy mad reading and I think I've got a solid idea about what I need to get done for this wiring / VTEC nonsense. First off, I've got a proper P2P ECU, so all I need is to plug in a knock sensor and wire it up, and wire the VTEC solenoid to it as well. I found some diagrams / schematics of the pinouts, as well as a few HT threads that say which ones I need to tap into for which ECU. Sort of straight forward. Wiring is the worst part it seems, and that's all that's left for the swap to be complete. I think my buddy and I can handle it, but if not I'll go to my mechanic and see what he thinks about it all. I think I can do it. I'm not doing anything to the car motor wise, and if I did it'd be a B-series swap down the road, so it's not biggie to get shit wired in well and call it good. Not running mad rich FTW.
Aside from that, I've got my exhaust leak I'm gonna button up soon, I picked out my wheels, coils, and decided on a mild wire tuck (thanks Ryan). Stay tuned for a few pictures and moderate updates.

woot for wire tuck!
Why'd you pick out coils though? Isn't this car already on full coils??

I like people who BUY a 10 sec car and then brag about it. Thats like hiring someone to bang your wife and then bragging about the kid

Lawl.
Thanks for the title update, Ryan.
Also, I've picked out new coils for several reasons. The ones I have now are like...knockoff Ground Controls and crappy inserts on stock struts. They are still completely adjustable, but I think both the rears are shot and they are just way too soft, old, and cheap. Plus, for some REAL F&F Type 2s I'll be spending ~$640 shipped, so it's worth the upgrade for new and legit stuff.
Pics tomorrow.
