I've had a phantom grip in my 98 neon for a long time, it still posi's up, just not all the time. In a straight line, on a flat surface it's fine. I had 1 tire fires a lot before I did that. Part of the reason I had to go to a 3.94, blew up the 3.55.

how did the 3.55 blow up?
and i mean main thing it helps with is now the car doesn't pull like all hell to the right like it did when it was auto.. its a band aid on a big cut but does the job for the time being

One tire fires when I was being dumb on the street. Blew up trying to do a 7600 launch in front of my parent's house.

Well, I went to a 3.94 that started spitting out metal and making crazy noise. Then I went 3.94 with a PG from John badassneon.
BTW, just thought about it. Mopar ECU's get weird sometimes. Like, they're sensitive to cam positions. Did you buy the ECU used? If so, you can take the car to the dealer, and get the ecu flashed so it learns your cam magnet position.

Ecu is used. got bit from a wrecked car.. used to work no problems on my old 96 sohc. But ivebeen readin about it being reflashed
But now I have missfire 1 and 4 cylinder with the timing code along with a to lean code which I had come on at first when I org did the swap till it learned I have no evap and a 4 to 1 header and now a slight exhaust leak before the cat. That I'm not worried about at all.. the timing and misifre codes I am buti think its all related to the ecu neding to be reflashed.. I'm just gunna sell it off and get an afx

If I remember correctly, Steven used Rustoleum on the bumper, so be careful how you buff it. Rustoleum is very picky when it comes to buffing.
I'm glad steven's old car is going to a good home though!
