So I traded the TC wheels I had for a "nice" set of silverstones. The guy selling them drove 2 hours to swap wheels with me. Little did I know that the s.s's had SEVEN layers of paint BRUSHED ON! I spent plenty of time and over 200 ounces of aircraft remover trying to get these wheels stripped yet they still looked like ass. I told a friend of mine about the headaches I was having with them and he made a call to a friend of his that works at ColorWorks which does industrial paint jobs. Apparently this guy owes my buddy a favor, and he agreed to sandblast all my wheels and paint them FREE OF CHARGE! So, needless to say, I'm friggin happy. Still waiting on them to get back but as soon as I have them, I will be posting pics. They are getting painted Hi Temp Silver Metallic with a hint of pearl in the clearcoat...should be sex!.

ryan those wheels went from black to white to black to red to green to white to black again. he had changed color ever week. but nice job getting them sandblasted.

Yeah, I noticed that when trying to strip them myself. It was like a game to guess what color the next layer will be "cmon pink.....blue. DAMN!"

wow that sucks ryan, cant wait to see the finished product though
