Hm-mm well I've been on this site for nearly a year now and haven't made a progress log. Was bored after driving four hours to and from Maryland. So I'm making one now:
No pictures of the car when I first bought it in '08, but it was your average stock sxt, except for one thing:
Image
Atlantic Blue. Definitely my favorite 2gn colour. Back then i was looking for an auto. Dumbass. :tardbang:
Today, it is just as slow, but a little easier on the eyes.

And here is how it looks tonight!

I need air tools...
Future mods:
Install rt rear section
New hood and chrome pieces
SRT springs on stock struts
then Prokit on tokico hp's
??
Thanks for looking I will have some updates soon...

Good luck man! After living in the rust belt I always hate suspension work!

How come once you put the lip kit on you didn't take any full shots of the car?

@ Sidepipe
Got the Srt springs for free, and I needed practice tearing down and building up my suspension. I want to run the pro kit with legit struts, so when I get the chance I will buy tokico hp and switch again.

Well I have done two interesting things in the past few days:

AND ??????????
Image
Yes. Got the rear section on and it looks perty gud.
And I was really bored one day, and my mom's van was sitting around when she took my neon so I worked on blacking out the van's turn signals.:
Image
In my defense, I was supposed to reseal the turn signals anyway. They had almost an inch of water pooled in them.

The hardest part of doing the rear section was taking off the bumper and cutting out the inserts. It was easy. The tips are kind of staggered though. Perhaps something I will have to fix later.

Did you mount your mopar lip lower than it should be? It doesn't line up with your license plate area.

And the dual tips look good. Mine's are not straight with the cutouts either but I'm ok with it.

Im early 03 so there were no x's to mount to. Also the lip physically didn't fit properly up so high. I was expecting that because I read somewhere that early 03's like mine had to have the lip mounted lower. On the plus side it looks better IMO.

early 03 bumpers are different bro...

also what's up with the tips?? how are they off center? were new tips welded on crooked? That doesn't make sense since there's cutouts on the lip FOR the oem r/t muffler :-k

Oh, and Penn State FTL. Pitt FTW!

Haha. The tips are not pointing straight back, but rather out in more of a v pattern. Its no big deal, in fact I kind of like it.
Also, I am not going to Penn State.
Temple honors college, Philly FTW.
I do have plenty of friends going to pitt though.

Cleaned out the interior with some carpet cleaner, which worked wonders.
Washed and waxed the outside too, took some nice photos.
Only one week til the end of semester and I get a month off.
