I figured since I signed up here, I might as well start a log for my car.
I bought the car in May/10 from the original owner, it's a 2002 Chrysler Neon R/T. It's a full load car it has Leather, Sunroof, side airbags, 4 disc changer, Cruise and all that jazz. The car only had 59,XXX kms on it, and I paid a cheap $1000 for it. The car had been sitting for a couple years so I flushed everything, changed the plugs, and drained the gas. After all that, the car runs great and is nicer to drive then my 1995 Sport Coupe.
Since I've owned it I've put on a Mopar CAI, Tein S-tech's, poly motor mounts, boogers, Mopar Stage 1 Shifter with SRT boot and a fancy carpet trunk liner.

I'm picking up a set of SRT-4 ACR BBS rims for $400 off craigslist on Saturday, so they will be going on there once I get money for some tires. I'm probably going to go with KDW's like factory. I also got a SRT rear section, pedals, and a steering wheel but then I lose my cruise control.

I also got a buddy to make up a couple pistol grip handles for the R/T and my sport coupe. I have carbon fiber handles for both, and an old school woodgrain one for the Sport Coupe.

And finally a pic of my Sport coupe just because.

I've also ordered a set of KYB GR2's for the car for the time being, I got an amazing deal on them. I also got a PVO spoiler and a base trunklid so I can do a molded spoiler. Some pics of that to follow.

Car looks great and I like the shifters. Did I read that right, you got the car for $1,000? Deal of a lifetime, especially with such low kilometers on it.
I would advise against puting the SRT rear section on though. I had the SRT cat-back on my '04 and it was very loud. Looking back, that was the only mod I regret doing. Should've went with a quiter single exit instead.

looks good and that was a damn good deal... as for the cruise control on the srt wheel u could grab the controls from a regular 03+ and swap them onto the srt wheeli think it would work....
