germany: where all the neons will maybe go
got a new toy today
Unfortunatelly not autostick, but nice anyway
And together with this piece
I will built a OBD-Cluster-Adapter (will get +, ground and PCI-Bus from the OBD) and try a PT Cruiser Cluster if I get one for cheap anytime.
Does anyone know, if two clusters connected with the PCM at the same time will work ??

So we stay on tune - worked last saturday and today...
Always a good idea to keep that from your original bumper for the oem
Lovely - they will go directly into my LE
Let the a/c fluid off ozonefriendly ...
todays work - started late but anyway
Our lifter
To dark fpr nice pictures, but on top two wooden beams with strong eyelets and a winch
... here it is
and if anything goes wrong...
So we are ready to get to the engine-swap next time (2.0 vs 2.0) - just for heaving a non-leaking engine...

Today we delivered the silver (#4) from it´s pain
Good thing for a using a rear window except as a rear window (think I have to experimentalize a bit with this and my cheap Casio ) :
We cut it in two pieces at laeast, but unfortunatelly it had been too dark for nice pictures.
I need some place for my next projects - a R/T would be cool I think

Oh yes - I feel totalled myself and the jigsaw is rubbish now
Recently the view back into my garden
and to the street
- Hope my next wish becomes true - to get a 00 LX with ripped timing belt - or an R/T. Hmm, can´t understand why my wife is so critical right now
But number one on her list had been done today: cut at least one wreck into pieces before you get the next . . .

You´re right. Even the subframe was in very good condition.
The black LE here has a lot more rust. Especially the rear left panel - like a lot Neons else here
I´m happy that my other two silvers don´t have that rust so far. For the subframe I urgently have to do something on my 2000 LE. Will watch under the 99 LX which I recently have bought, not at least I have to try to repair the engine as the timing belt is definitely gone.

After all these neons I think it is time to get to a new project - retaurating a lifter. I got one for cheap, but unfortunatelly laying in the dirt for years and with a lot of missing parts. It´s from 1977 and for 2.500 kg.
I had to derust and paint it, build a strong basement, make a place where I can work with it then and find all the smaller or bigger (and therefore more or less expensive) parts.
I had to get a new headplate with a bearing for one pillar, but there has been no original part available. So I bought an universal bearing and made a plastik-plate as a sample.
Two nuts - really special and quite expensive
Data-plate of the motor
and of the lifter itself
Worn control-unit ( I have to build a new one)
Connectionbox of the motor. Fortunatelly my house has a 3phase connection.
Lucky as I think I am, the motor is still running (just a test drive) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZjUk3Co1fI

Damn, all parts are really heavy

Looks good! Can you build a roof or awning over it for good weather protection since it's outside?

Damn - there is someone else collecting wrecks
But fortunatelly it seems not over here...
Though it looks like I have to be more busy to catch chipdog up
Here are some more pics from the outside.
Inside there are already a lot of parts missing, but most important - the engine is complete.
