Based on the way the light is reflecting everywhere, I would guess that you have HIDs in the stock housings?

If so, that's horrible.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

At least get some eyelids. Or shell out the extra money to do it the right way: get projectors.

And 4300k's are the way to go :)

Not to mention that while you may have them adjusted down, you can't do anything for all the light that is spread to the sides.

HIDs are designed to have their light focused by a projector, not reflected back into a reflector housing. No matter what you do to aim them, HIDs in a stock housing is fail.

Projectors are simply convex lenses placed in front of the bulb. The purpose is to focus the light and to literately "project" the light ahead rather than to allow it to reflect in random directions. I agree completely with Holmes. There is really no benefit installing Xenons into a reflective housing. (i don't know what the law is in the US) but in the UK Xenons are technically only legal on vehicles fitted with projectors which automatically adjust. But you get the idea, you would be surprised how cheap you can pick up projectors on Ebay.
