as for the next thing that has happened is an after market stereo has been installed. bought it right before work and one of my buddies decided that he wanted to install it. he managed it within the half hour period during our lunch break. (so sorry no pics yet)
Today as of about half hour ago my Cold air intake was delivered by fedex. ill be heading over to my buddies house. (he has a floor jack lol) and it will then be installed. i will try to remember to get before and after pics.

lol thank you. i doubt mine will ever end up as nice as your is. well heres another pic from today the CAI is in. got a little over excited and forgot to take all of the pictures. remembered while it was being installed so really there is only one lol. ill post a video tomorrow of it once i get up....
Alright so here is how it was done (i apologize for there only being one picture but was a little lost in the moment)
started out by first removing the top of the airbox, then removed the bolt that was attaching it to the car. also removed the bolts attaching it to the throttle body. completely took out the box. next peeled back the plastic inside the wheel well and realized that i did not have to, removed the headlight and was able to get at the one bolt holding the airbox inside the fender. (which i might add is a POS the thing has no holes for airflow what so ever). installed the first pipe of the CAI it was a little bit of a tight fit and had to warm the fitting up but it did work as it was suppose to. then from there basically positioned the other half so that the filter would be near the top of where the box in the fender was. then just reassembled everything and yeah
tools needed
socket wrench
socket extender
10mm
8mm
note: yes it is an ebay Cold air. but then again it actually looks decent and also it does what it is suppose to... overall its really not a bad product for those of us who do not have the money for the brand names.

In the grand scheme of things a pipe is a pipe as far as an intake system goes. I don't think it's any worse than any of the other ones out there for the 2.0L. What's next for the car?

the filter will end up being replaced with a K&N filter. i also have a video but i have to connect the blackberry to the computer as the file is to large to send to phone. hopefully the sound is good on it.
