well since my stock clutch just went after 127,000 miles on it. i figured it is time to do my log. i purchased the car brand new at the end of 05 with 7 miles on it. it is a mtx and mostly stock with the exception of tinted side markers, ebay cai, sony explode head unit, and now the recently installed centerforce clutch purchased from wheels04sxt (thanks nick) what i have coming is a set of booger bushing and a sts.
what i need to do next is all four struts, pull off the side molding and either some new head and tail lights or night shading the stock ones. any help or input would be much appreciated thanks 2gn famillia.

nice hows that clutch feelin bro? deffinitely take the side moldings off and when you swap the struts out id try saving up for some blues and springs.ypou can pick em up on here for a decent price usually. give it a nice drop and firmer ride ftw

^^ wheels04sxt I love your sig because you got a killer stance on that Neon

@hp4lyfe - Very nice start so far. Pretty awesome to hear you've kept your Neon for this long. I bought mine back in '07 with 14k miles on it... and I thought that was pretty good! Can't wait to hear more on what you're doing and see it come together.

@ wheels04sxt: i love it bro feels better then the stock one.

@ 2005.Neon.SXT: to be honest it is my first brand new car, i have had many before but all have been used. so i am tempted to see how long i can keep the neon. everything on it expect from what i have listed is factory oh and the oil pan i had to change. the last one was stripped from the plug.

well got my booger bushings in the mail the other day, and was going to wait for my sts to come to install them. when i get a notice in my email that the vendor that i ordered the sts from refunded my money and gave no reason for it :beatstick: so now i either order another from someone else and wait yet again or tear out the console two times  damn it i hate i hate it i hate it lol

ok so i decided to install my booger bushings this past saturday,i took some pics and took my time. was very easy a little too easy as i had problems :banghead: :cussing: on monday heading to my in laws but that is in another thread.

so i took out my console
Image

started with the two flat head screw drivers to take off first oem bushing and cable when the all but the bushing came off
Image

finally got the bushing off and it seemed like it was still in good shaped so i kept it just in case
Image
Image

put the new booger bushing in on driver side was easy. the passenger side was not.
Image

oh yeah when i took my console out on the inside it had this sticker
Image
it says feb 27 2005 on it, i dont know if that is when the console was made or when my car was assembled.

nope went with the energy suspension bushings, and what the hell happened to all my pics :cussing: damn my wife for messing with my photobucket :slap: so i needed some new struts and found a local guy selling a set of srt4 struts with 12,000 miles on them with lowering springs for $100.

Image

so i bought them and low and behold this is what i see in his garage.

Image
Image

srt4 e85 feed looks way nicer in person.

also installed this
Image

i also put in my johnny mopar cradle bushings in  these with the booger bushings so amazing. only problem i have is i have to wait to put the rear struts on as one of the dust covers is cut and i want to replace it before i put it on. so i have the srt4 ones with lowering springs in front and stock sxt with stock springs in back lol well see what this mexican does next time so untill then :thefinger: :slap:

forgot to add i also took off my side moldings

i know i have some body work to do on the passenger side.
