k so i took her out to do one last pull and it was smoking soo bad i didnt wanna beat on it lol so i pulled in the garage and started pulling it apart lol ill post pics up tomorow

moar stuff camee lol ill take pics in a lil bit and post the ones of the tear down on the motor. also i picked up some paint from advance auto that (from the cap and the description match my color. its a different paint code but its gonna be used for the engine bay so it doesnt have to match exactly. ill update when i get the chance to let yall know how well it works. oh and the paint code it has on the can is PEL.

alright alright i know ive failed at posting pics but i got some now and here we goo. first it starts with the car being preped for work

this is what a real shaved bay lookes like lol

any idea on a easy way to tuck these wires

so i found spray paint that looked like it would match pretty good and this is my process

anyway more motor work

some more dissasembly

oh and look at all this nasty shit i found lol

anybody know hoe to get this timing pully off?

I took a hammer and chisel to the crank sprocket on my engine and shattered it to get it off. I just bought a new one for like $11

man, that sucks about the sprocket and all that fluid. I am under the assumption I am leaking steering fluid from the rack. My rear k frame and passenger side control arm are soaked in it. Are you experiencing this as well? Other than that, GO MAN GO. MOAR BOOST PLZ!!!!

Honing block
3 angle valve job
Degreasing. And hitemp painted gloss black motor
head degreased and cleaned up nice

update: got the motor and trans out and im ccleaning the engine bay up nice to paint it. im thinkin about putting a coupple leds mounted onto the hood to so i can be "cool" to show people at night lol what u guys think?

sounds good, What I had in mind was a couple under the wiper cowl and a bar under a MPx radiator shroud. Thats what I plan on doing on my car and just my .02 as to the last post. good luck either way

i was thinking about putting a white led strip right on the bottom of my strut bar and another one on the rad support on a switch so they only come on when my hood is open

soooo i got a coupple things done in the past few days, honed block, got the timing pully off, aquired a fuel lad 1:1, and painted my engine bay.

idk if u can see but the burn marks on the pistons from the oil is pretty funny to me lol

cleaned the oil pan mating surface

fuel lab

and paintttt

lol yeah it is, its actually a different paint code than the prh its pel but i have yet to see the difference. lol i also painted the brake booster black. my engine bay is gonna be sick looking when im done
