i hate working and wating for two weeks for money.... shit sucks. with this next check ill be paying my last installment on my intake and possibly getting the new piston rings. anybody know where to get some real nice ones? or will any do?

I know its probably on the forum somewhere but does anybody know what wires or where the plug is that I need to make the clutch safety switch work properly cuz right now I just have the starter relay grounded and I eventually Wanna have launch control and I want my Shit to not be half assed

did you do an mtx swap? if yes you need to get a clutch saftet/ upstop switch. i can take pics of mine tomorrow if you really need. if u have launch control the saftey switch gets bypassed again anyways and it is used to tell the megasquirt/ems to go into llaunch.

yeah its been swaped for a while now and how do i wire it for the ms launch controll when i get it? cuz right now i have my starter relay grounded out, kinda looks like poop cuz how i have the wire ran

lol the magic money man only stops by every two weeks so it takes way longer than id like but i finnaly got the block together. still gott send the head out and get some misc stuff like, crank timing sprocket. belts valve springs oil pan bung welded in run my gas lines finish my custom hardline clutch setup( i didnt like the plastic... it didnt look strong enough to mee) oil psi gauge timing belt tensioner. adj cam gear and maybe a new power steering pump. so i gotta get busy lol pics will come soon.

anobody know if the srt crank timing gear is the same as the one on the 2.0? cuz i need one and all i can find is ones that say they are for srt

so i did some work i got my water pump oil pump internals in and a new crank timing gear. by the way the srt crank timing gear is exactly the same as the 2.0 sohc i ordered a new timing belt tensioner and soon ill be sending the head out and ill be running my gas lines once the block is in. after all that im gonna want help to wire in my megasquirt. so if anybody close to the south milwaukee area wants to help ill toss ya 50 bux and we can get some beer and have a good ole time playin with wires :lol:

alrighty so i installed the timing belt tensioner and now hopefully today ill be putting the block and trans into the car. ill be posting pics up soon, sorry everyone forr not making much progress lately and not posting many pics.

finally i got a check the was big enough where i could buy parts!!!!!!!! lol so i bought the valve springs i needed and new intercooler couplers. i also just started a new job that pays a bit better so i should be making more progress in a shorter amout of time!!! i really wont be mad if any of the local guys wanna help me with any of it :lol:

got the head back and ordered arp head studs and an adjustable cam gear should be here tomorrow. hoping to have this beast done soon!!

Alright so does anybody have a moroso oil pan they'd be willing to sell to me? I also need a a new alternator, I Wanna upgrade but I'm not too sure what to get. I read somewheres that somebody makes 160 amp alternators for our cars but I don't remember who makes em. HELPPPPP!!!! I WANNA FINISH THIS BEAST

dont quote me but im pretty sure we could use pt alternators and they put out higher amperage.

alrighty got the alternator situation all settled now i just need to find an oil pan with the return line bung. anybody got one theyre lookin to sell? :lol: my old oil pan is a hack job and i want something a lil better lol

what evap stuff under the hood? Ms is standalone and doesnt use any of that. You could run a fuel cell with an inline pump if you wanted.

the stuff in the way back by the trans. its not much but its annoying me at the moment lol. so if i got rid of it i woud need to get a fuel cell and an inline pump? or would the stock stuff work fine? i dont have to wory about emissions or anything like that, and on another note, if i were to not run power steering, would i need a manual rack or would the power one work?

you can delete just about everything megasquirt only cars about a few sensors on the motor the rest can be deleted.. unles you have to return it stock for emission testing or anything
