fist of all im a still alive lol and well its ben a year since i did the DOHC swap on my car.
and all i gotta say is. that its ben running like a champ couldn't be happier.

just a quick rundown for the people that dont know what i did to the engine.

DOHC head on stock sohc block all stock minus aem true time adjustable cam gears seat a 0,0, 2.4 oem exhaust manifold, stock r/t muffler, and getto 3.0 intake tube.

I havent had any issues with the car other than little wiring bugs that im still working out. since i last updated my old project log i have done a couple things to the car

i got done.
1. bux tails and chrysler grille from marcel
2. tokico blues with goldline springs
3. map reading light rear view mirror.
4. trunk lid carpet
5. 1gn manual trunk release.
6. lsp led dome light, led lic plate light, led cubby hole light, led third brake light and im as we speak getting some custom 00 led tails done by her.
7. acr radio delete panel.
8. relocated my alpine head unit to were the cd changer goes.
9. air bag delete tray.
10. chrysler steering wheel air bag.
11. full eibach suspension bushing kit.
12. power folding mirrors

things i have planed for this year are.
1. swap in the new to me transmission mine has no third lol
2. get my srt clutch converted to work with the 2.0 trans.
3. get megasquirt.
4. 60mm mpx throttle body.
5. make custom cold air intake.
6. get mpx under drive pulley.
7. get a side exit exhaust.
8. get my avs molded.
9. get body work done.
10. get some coons retrofit them and tint the turns on them amber.
11. get wheels.
12. do 1gn strut conversion.
13. do rear disk conversion.
14. get all new wiring for a mtx i am using atx wiring and im having some issues.

I dig the flat black, looks like a decent pai.t job. looks badass. and you can run an MTX on an ATX ECU and wiring, i did it on my 00

ntyvirus1: yes and no i almost got some rota ikr 17x9 25et but im going to keep my eyes open to see if i find something else i like

tink: yeah everything is the same the only difference is the clutch switch you have to figure out what wire to ground lol for some weird reason if i turn on my air the car will start but only if i dont press the clutch cus if i do it wont start lol so i wanna get new wiring from a mtx just to get rid of the electrical bugs i have

save your money and get it repainted salsa red instead of repainting it flat black... would look soo much better.

it only cost me 15 bucks to spray it lol but yeah im debating salsa red or prowler orange?? only time will tell lol

Do it with vinyl like window tint, don't spray em.

I used spray tint on just the amber portion of one of my sets of export tails. *shrugs*

(pics are old, pre-export rear bumper, pre- a lot of things. I currently have stock exports in the car, these tinted ones are boxed up in storage.)

that looks good man im leaning more towards tinting everything but the back up lights with vinyl tho that way if i want to go back i can just peal it off

well two days ago leaving work pulled off the lot and when i was shifting from first to second the transmission did a really loud thump and it seemed as if the car died but it keept driving normal and guess what i got third again yay lol the car self fixed it self lol it grinds bad going into third but before i wouldnt even let me get into that gear.

im not going into third but i feel a lil better that now i can at least go into the gear

well i went to the pick apart and scored a sunroofless headliner with o poop handles i will be painting it black along with my pillars and isntalling it all will have pictures soon.

i also got a set of rear headrest seats i got the front and rears from a fully loaded es i still dont know if i should put them in my car since i have all the bux and rare parts in mine or just put them in the wifes neon

i also got my srt clutch im going to send it out to get ground down and im going to start my side exit exhaust soon ill post pictures soon thanks for looking
