Thanxs and I plan on it.. The lil spot I found it was in shocked when they seen the black one..
Kristin and I drove up there in the Compass to check it out, sign the papers, and drive it home but I had to go back the following day for something..
They freaked out when they seen the black neon and how it came out and asked if I was gonna do the same to this one.. I was like a lil but not to the extreme..
Go thing I didn't show them the black neon before I got this one cuz they probably would've wanted more for it..

Sorry folks... Been absent fir awhile.. I'm back at work and they messed me so much that they're trying to kill me

I'll get back on things this weekend for a lil bit... Modern Performance is having a meet sometime in November and theres some projects I need to finish up on the black 00 so I'll be hoping back over on that as well..

Eyelids are installed..

They're actually bout 95% done.. There's some low spots that I need to add a lil filler to but nothing to bad.. They'll be fully finished when the retros are on..

>Added a Megan Volt Gauge.. Matches the Cluster Overlay perfectly..

As you can see I had to open up the dash and the pod a lil more for the gauge to fit..

Had to hold off on the door panels til next weekend.. Used the money on supplies..

Dave: I'll take some side by side pics of all the pieces bro and take measurements..

Evo: It's just like doing the SRT swap without the extra weight.. You save like 5-6 pounds by using the PT stuff and besides that the parts are easier to find..

Took all day (shoulda just taken about a hour or so) cuz me and my lil bro BS'd all day..

Knuckles off.. Notice the messed up balljoints..

Side by side differences..

And this is why you need to cut bout .5" off the tie rod ends and thread it back more..

PT Swap Installed..

The steelies wont fit over the new brakes so I had to use my moms old set of wheels..

BS'd so much that I forgot to take pics before the sun went down so I'll have to get some in the morning..

Nah bro this is the front.. If you're talking bout changing the rear drums to disc brakes, then I have already done that a few posts back..

wow. other than cutting the tie rods not a bad fit at all. have you driven the car at all since changing it? if so notice any difference?

i bet a set of drilled and slotted ones would look sick behind my bbs wheels.

I drove the car a lil bit last nite just to make sure everything was on and tight but other than that nah.. My lil bro did notice that I stopped quicker than the 01 (stock brakes)..
Cutting the tie rod ends arent that bad either.. Just grab a cut off wheel, mark it, and let it fly.. I haven't done it yet on this one manily because I have the correct pt knuckles.. So all I have to do is adjust them instead of cutting them..

And yes drilled/slotted rotors will come eventually..

Again folks, the Motegi's wont be on for long.. I had to put them on cuz the steelies wont fit over them.. My Sebring wheels will get tires soon..

my pt 11" setup has been on for a lil now. pretty straight forward swap.

Also did you get manual or autos pt knuckles?

Because for the other guys here wanting to know about the swap. When you do the swap make sure you get the manual trans pt knuckles for the swap. pt crusier auto and manual trans have the tie rods in different locations on the knuckles for them to have the correct ratio outcome.

** These pt brakes will fit under 15" steelies but they must be pt 15" steelies.
