Lol.. Yea doing this swap is gonna be loads of fun.. I was gonna start on it today but some retard parked too close for me to get the doors all the way open..

Gotta love it Dawm.. The same reason why I picked this one up for so cheap.. Just gotta have a replica R/T but with a 2.4L of course..

We had some fun today with the nurple..

Installed motor mount inserts, front strut bar, magnum intake manifold, and the Perrin radiator shroud..
Sux balls cuz I noticed that the side motor mount (middle mount) bolt broke off into the mount, thats why the motor is leaning..

Good thing I don't drive it..
More fun tomorrow with the wirring and other parts..

Starting to not like how the Mercedes lil vents stick out on the side... hmmm..

Lol.. This makes #2 for me.. Bought both of them new for the dealer under a freind with his discount..

My Fast Fab Long Tube Header for the 2.4L is finally here and I also picked up some parts for the powdercoater..

Very happy at how they came out.. As I picked these up, I dropped more parts off..
Should see those parts done within the next couple of days..

Man it makes me wanna call in today to put these on the motor

your p-coater didnt mask off the gasket sealing surfaces at all..

John: His name is Raul and he's located in Aldine.. I was gonna have one if my Srt buddy to do it but he was acting like he was too busy or something..

Dawm + Sean: yep, I had to take back the oil pan and oil filter adapter for that reason.. Everything else is good.. I didnt notice it when I went to pick the pieces up cuz still being half a sleep

I took them back within 10 mins and they'll be taking care of and fixed before Monday..

I'm not tripping though.. We all make mistakes.. He offered to coat my intake manifold for the mess up so I'm coo

Gonna start taken the old crap off the motor tomorrow and hopefully have it all together, in thr car, and running by the end of the month..

Picked up the 3rd batch this morning..

Dohc intake manifold
Timing Gears
Another oil pan w/adapter

Had to go get another pan/adapter cuz it had blisters all around the flange and I didnt wanna try to get it to work.. The powdercoater figured he had the heat too high so told me to grab another and he'll coat it, the adapter, and the intake for free..

Everything is all good now.. I dropped off the thermostat housing to be powdered black.. Forgot to bring the fuel rail..

Half off sale is coming up on the Memorial Day Weekend and I have a list of stuff I'm gonna grab..

Bought it cuz it'll look great as a r/t replica but I'm not sure if I'll mount it or not...

looks good, kinda like what I did on the my red car. Question, why is it on the "wrong" side? I mean I know the eclipse is on that side but not the neon.... Eather way, it looks good, but believe it or not, doing the bulge hood was one of the most overlooked mods I had done to the car.

There's no right or wrong side.. I put it on the drivers side so it can be functional and be different.. 1gn passenger side is only good for looks or 2.4 swap..

ahh looking good... how did you end up attaching it. weld or rivets? and if its done right its such a clean mod that if u notci awsome if not that means if flows so well with the car it looks like its supposed to b there. Thanxs Zack.. I met up with Dan (Laid neon) at his shop and he tacked it in and closed up the nozzle holes too... He said if I had glassed it in he would have disowned me
