Let me correct myself. Its only the pt's that the auto and manuals knuckles are different.

Regardless if your auto or manual get manual pt knuckles..

a23dranger: Yea bro I went with the MTX Pt knuckles cuz thats the info I read too.. Pt stuff is easier to find.. You can also use the SRT Knuckles with are the Pt's..

I've done both.. The SRT crap is on the black 00 and the Pts on here.. I'll be swapping to Pt calipers and rotors on the black neon to save some weight..

Dave: Do it bro.. Well worth it IMO especially with your turbo..

Zack: Tranny swap wouldn't matter.. The axle spindles are the same.. So just look for the MTX Pt knuckles and you'll be good..

Grabbed a Perrin Radiator Shroud off of srtforums the other day and it came in..

It'll be installed on the weekend.. The car is parked at my moms for now..

Crossing my fingers on a possible deal on a running 2.4 motor from a 99 Stratus.. Going hold off installing the magnum intake til I get an answer.

I was under the impression when swapping front brakes to go bigger more had to be done. That you had to knuckles AND rack and pinion. Is that just for srt knuckles?

The SRT-4 and PT Cruiser knuckles are one in the same... Only thing different is the location of the tie rod holes.. Thats it..

Replacing the rack and pinion is not necessary... I didn't replace it when I did the swap to my Black 00.. As a matter of fact, I'm still have the stock neon steering rack in attached to the SRT-4 power steering lines and pump..

To get around this all you have to do is cut about 1/2" off the the tie rod end and thread it back some.. Thats it..

The only difference between the SRT and Non tubro Pt setup is that rotors are thicker and have a bigger piston..

Thats all really good to know. I cant remember where but I thought I read on here that the rack had to be swapped because of the location of the tie rod holes.

This will defenitly be on my mods to come list. First though, I got my rt head and LTH to get on.

Viper: Hell nah!!!! These vents were removed from a old model Pontiac Gran Prix... I have the drip pans but probably won't use them.. Maybe just a half of one to protect the battery and thats it..

I'm in the same boat.. My mom wants it on her 01 (the white one) really bad once its done... So this one will probably getting the Srt hood..

Speaking of my moms 01, we finally added the front Mopar Lip to her 02 front bumper...

Just need to do some touch up paint and she'll be good...
I'm praying that she doesn't knock it off..

Need to add some type of screw or bolt on those ends to keep it from fly up..

Lil update..
Grabbed some 04 rear door panels sometime last week and finally had some free time to swap the inserts and install them in the car..

The back seat area is done for now, til I add the power windows, locks, and tint the windows..

Working on the hood more this weekend, bought a passenger side air bag delete at the modern meet so I need to install that and the perrin shroud, and some other lil stuff...

My daugther keeps me busy now which is a load of fun..
