Looking Good bro.

Firgured out my power steering situation for the 2.4 swap..
Instead of paying an arm, a leg, and a nut for the SRT4 setup, I'm gonna use a combination of the PT Cruiser Pump, PT Pressure Line, 1gn Reservoir, 1gn Rubber Return Lines, and the 2gn Hard Return Line..
Here's the PT stuff..
Power Steering Pump
Return line to Reservoir (Grabbed just in case but will use the 1gn hose..)
I might grab the 1gn stuff tomorrow.. We'll see..

I think Lorenzo sells a bracket so you can just use your stock pump.... wait, now that I'm thinking about it that was when I did the 2.4 swap into my first gen.

Yea that bracket is for the 1gn.. The 2gn's pump will work/bolt in but the pressure line will get in the way as well as the reservior (I think)..
I could use the stock pump with the pt pressure line (cuz it goes underneath the motor) and make the stock return line work but the pump thats on the current 2.0 is already bad..
Besides that I'm using the all the Pt brackets so everything will line up and I wont have to worry bout modifing too much to make it work..

Yay.. Grabbed the 1gn stuff today..
Now the 2.4L Power Steering Setup is Complete..

The weathers down here has been very sucky so all I can really do is collect parts..
Just picked up another r/t bumper for the nurple..
Thanxs to my hook up at the dealer..
BUX Cluster.. Yep all the way for Europe..
Gonna turn the srt exhaust into a center exhaust using the dual exit tip on this one and the single tip on the black 00..
I have 3 more ideas/parts coming in just waiting for them...
Comon Mr. Sun... Where you be??
Posted: Fri Feb 10, 2012 4:23 pm
i cant wait to see what you come up with for the exhaust..
also like i said on fb. i would love that cluster. or for that matter. i wish i could find one... all black autometer gauges and a white gauge cluster looks kinda odd....

The ideas that you come up with blow my mind. But cant wait to see how it looks, keep up the good work.

Posted: Sat Feb 11, 2012 11:38 pm
that ain't right.... I was looking at the BUX speedo that guy was selling too and he said he already had a buyer..... and that dual Porsche tip ? ? found one on Ebay for $249.99. I'm sure you didn't pay that.

Dave: Thanxs bro.. I got it off ebay through there uk site.. Made sure that the seller would ship over here and after that all I had to do is winning the auction..
Wish it warm up already so I can start glassing again.. I have some aero parts I wanna build for my black 00..
Jesse: Thanxs bro..
Parabola: You serious?? I'm replacing a stock bumper for the r/t bumper...
thats funny.. And yea I got both tips from ebay for $50... Hell of a deal when they're both $250 new at the dealer...

Man, I've been looking for an r/t bumper down here but no luck in the yards...
I'm digging the side vents too..
Posted: Mon Feb 20, 2012 9:37 pm
Go ahead bro.. knock yourself out.. I'm still trying to decide if I really want to do this to my r/t bumper..
I'm still looking/grabbing different options..
KBS: yea the dealer your only option or if someone makes a replica r/t lip (wink wink)..
This is where I got the idea from and want I really wanna make..
Bumper vents off the Mercedes..

I'm listening... Plse don't put the vents on the r/t bumper. If don't mind me asking how much was the bumper?

List price was like 600 something.. My homies hook up, 431 tax included..
Posted: Tue Feb 21, 2012 7:50 pm
Scooby vents look a little big on that bumper...(like you said)
Posted: Wed Feb 22, 2012 7:22 pm
I don't have a R/T bumper, its a cheap aftermarket. I think I might try it when its warmer.
Posted: Fri Feb 24, 2012 12:13 pm
lol.. Talking bout my r/t bumpers bro..
Posted: Fri Feb 24, 2012 12:24 pm
i think if you shaved the marker light. it may work better. getting rid of thelight will not make the vent look soooo big.
i love opening this thread. you just never know what you will find.
