I just dyed my headliner with the Duplicolor stuff today and touched up a few spots on my carpet - good stuff but SMELLS really bad for a bit.

Love how the car's coming along, I second LSP for having some good junkyards like yours!

I'm surprised with all the rare parts you find there, you can't get a PT clock spring. lol

And did you spray the carpet while it was in the car or was it pulled out? Didn't look like you mask off anything. :P

ithane: Thanxs bro and go get some.. It does the job and then some..

DetergentCandy: Thanxs bro.. I try to be different as much as possible.. I like to look at all the options whether they're good or bad..

blackneon: Yea.. I had to leave the windows down to get rid of the smell.. Majority of it is gone but I'm let the sun hit it for a bit.. What can I say, I like scouting the yards..

NEON PARABOLA: Thanxs bro.. I like experimenting..

Tam: There's like 4 at the yards I know of.. Its not finding them, its pulling them..
Pt airbags sux huge balls to take off.. Our cars are just bolted in the wheel, pt's have clips that are PITA to get to and undo..
Thats the reason why I haven't put the bag in yet..

And yea I left the carpet in but took out all the panels.. I'm pretty good at spraying so I didn't really need to mask off anything... There's nothing to really cover anyways besides my pedals.. :P

Lookin good bro... i feel like me and you are the only ones that would rather work on the neons in anyway shape or form... if i could id sppend everyday working on my car lol... i love that there are projects to be done without spending money too. so how durable is that sem interior paint, nd did u have to scuff up the pieces to get a good stick to it... cuz i know most spray paint ne little nic or scuff is gonna scratch and show up or even peel the paint... oh and i like ur outdoor garage lol.. u need to put up a gate so no one takes ur stuff.

I didn't scuff the pieces I just cleaned them, wiped them down with alcohol, sprayed 3 coats of adhesive promoter, and bout 3 coats of the SEM..
We'll see tomorrow when I put them back in..
And my lil garage is safe from retards.. I'm upstairs and I would love for someone to climb up and take something... Would just love it..

Went to the jyard this morning and grabbed the darker seat bets and installed most of the interior..
Image
Image
Image

All that the interior is lacking:
~Door seals - tomorrow
~Rear selt belts - tomorrow
~Door sills - tomorrow
~Passenger Air Bag Delete - sometime this month
~Rear door panels - Next weekend
~Front door panels - 2 weeks
~Front power window crap - end of the month..
Think that'll finish up the interior..

When it comes to most paint ur not jist buying the name ur buying the actual quality of paint... It may be cheap but the quality is not gonna be the same as sem...

Isakee: interior is commin along nicely, iv seen more progress on ur daily driven second neon in a month then what most people do since thev had there car.... People complain I wanna do this or that... Well give it a try.. Most people learn from there mistakes...

Glad to help! I adore that SEM paint, and it flows so smoothly too!
