Good news, putting these on next weekend =]
If anyone has any advice on install, im getting all new mounts and bellow tubes to do a straight up swap without compressing the springs.

Some say that there are numbers for front and rear to let you know which is what. I just matched the springs going on with what came off. Make sure to spray lube the mount bolts for easier removal. You doing the install at home or at a shop?

I would like to do this at home or my friends garage. doing the whole assembly swap should be easier, i just dont know how to assemble a complete strut. which goes on first etc. anyone have a diagram?

Good to hear your back up and running. Ill be right behind ya
I do believe the rear springs should be larger but like akirony said there should be some distinguishing marks somewhere in the paperwork or on the box the springs came with. Easy job to do, invest in either renting or buying a QUALITY set of spring compressors. Tighten the compressor one side at a time in small increments until you have enough slack to pull the top hat off. then just slide the compressed spring in the compressor off the strut install the new spring. decompress the old spring in the same fashion as you compressed it but in reverse obviously. compress the new spring on the strut and install your components and hat. decompress the new spring. install the assembly.....once all four corners are done GET AN ALIGNMENT immediately. Then......

Was looking throuh my parts...think i might be missing a piece. i couldnt find on rockauto for my car..but from that picture the lower insulator? number 4? what piece is that?

To be honest you might not have one. I didnt but if you want one you can do the heater hose mod that 4th gen f-bodys do. Put a heater hose around the bottom of the spring where it contacts the strut. Its used to lower the car 1/2in while keeping the noise to a minimal on f-bodies. Youd just be using it for the noise though.
