Any tips for removing tint? The bottom half of my rear window is being a little bitch.

steam is how i did my back window you cant use a razor like the other ones because of the rear defrost lines but steam and a dry cloth worked great for me and if you are retinting them make sure all of the old glue is off

Well, my defroster lines are already shot since I promptly used razorblades, but I digress. I steam it then rub across it with a dry cloth? The angle down at the bottom is soooo tough to get to.

Well guys, I havent been slacking. I got a shit ton of stuff done over the last couple of days and only have time to update some of it before my next appointment. Lets see here.

You guys remember this?
Image

Would you have guessed that after sean worked his magic, it could look like this?
Image
Image
Image
Image

I unfortunately haven't gotten a chance to install it yet, as I have a spark plug tube leaking a little oil so, I wanna get all the seals together before I swap it over.

I got myself a ebay CAI
Image

Sean powder coated my battery tray to match the valve cover so, I had him PC my CAI in wrinkle black while he was at it. Here is what they look like installed.
Image
Image
Image

I also decided that the blown speakers were not match for my beloved RB4 so I gave them a nice little upgrade.
Image
Image (old speaker on the left)
Image(old speaker)
Image(old speaker left new speaker right)
Image

I complimented the new alpine rears with a set of pioneer 3 way 6.5s up front. It sounds freaking awesome all together.
Image
Image

Next I got all my lighting mods by caraudioholic in and wired to a switch in the center console.
Image
Image
Image (these two are led bars under the srt seats.)
Image (Switch that controls it all)
Blue defroster switch from him.
Image

Blue LED switches.

I ordered a badass custom EL Hvac overlay from speedhut(WHICH SUCKS ASS AND I COULD NEVER GET IT TO WORK PROPERLY!!!)
Image

So there is a small update there is a shit more but I gotta get ready for a meeting. Let me know what you guys thinks. Thanks.

MyNeonSaysHi-Thanks bro, I try to pay attention to every detail, however it does mean a lot of work. Get yourself an RB4 or even better a RB1  Also, where in Kansas are you located? If your closeish to omaha come on down!! lol

Gardner, KS. About 35 miles south of KCMO. Nah those things are too expensive. I see they go cheap sometimes when people don't know what they got. We might be making a trip to Omaha this summer to see the zoo!

Little update. Over the weekend I got the new valve cover on and the pcv system rerouted. I made a ghetto oil catch can out of an air compressor air/oil separator. it's actually catching a little bit of oil already :)

I will get new pics of it all installed and cleaned in the next day or two.

Thanks for all the input guys

Your doing it all wrong...this is suppose to take years, if not decades. LOL

I'm gonna have to check out those SRT4 seats. I am considering a Corbeau racing bucket, but could get a whole set of SRT4 seats for the same price as 1 Corbeau Forza wide

Wow the car is coming along nicely. It's too bad that HVAC overlay didn't work out, that was pretty sweet!

Jerome-LOL I tried procrastinating but, I got bored, what can I say? As far as the SRT seats are concerned, you were right, for bigger guys like us it can be a bit tight in the shoulders but, they hold you where you want to stay still in the corners.

Passt- Thanks brother, unfortunately as cool as that overlay WOULD have been, I tried two inverters and still couldn't get the thing to light correctly. not to mention the y F**ked up my order three times! it took 3 shipments before I actually got everything I ordered. The first package sent to me was a overlay for a ford fookus!!! I will never go back to speed hut :banghead: :cussing:

but, anyhow. I got a lot done over last weekend. lets see here,
New brake pads up front, (the old ones were getting a little scary....)
Seafoamed the girl, installed the new valve cover using felpro gaskets :)
and threw together a simple air/oil separator for a simple oil catch can. I also took the time to reroute my throttle and cruise control boden wires.

Next project on the list is to degrease and shine the engine bay for the first time of 2012. Then.......eventually,..........COILOVERS!

Thanks for all the input guys, and keep the comments coming!
