sadly A is too normal and B... no, C is not too bad. I am more or less thinking of somehow blending an SRT-4 bumper with some Chrysler grill.... may have to ask R34 to do some photo shop work once I find the right combo. I actually like these but would somehow incorporate them into the lower half of the bumper

Agree on A. Def agree on B. I've always admired C but wouldn't wanna just copy it. Awesome job, though. I have a spare Chrysler grill like A only larger, I think from an early Sebring, sitting in my garage. You can have it to play with if you want.

SOOO it's been a LONG time since I updated this and although I don't have any pics at the moment I will a a week or so. I will be repairing my trans ( new clutch, shifter fork, ect) HOPEFULLY with a23dranger's help. haven't talked to him about it yet though... LOL Then I will be doing some engine work to just beef it up a little. Plans are...

custom 3in intake to stock airbox (have)
DSP (have)
Duster360 injectors and e-85 tune (need to get)
3bar map and tip (need to get)
Pwerks modified turbo exhaust manifold (need to get)
DCR E1 turbo w/ the works (have)
stage 2 wg (have)
3" o2 pipe (need to get)

Reason I'm doing this is because I want the reliability but a little more power. And at the moment with just the AGP wg and not comp. controlled the car is too harsh. Everyone says using the DSP really smooths out the car so we'll see.

Then I have to make my projector headlights, get the windows tinted and do some interior work.

wow Nov was the last time I've updated this??? ANYWAY I've done a little engine mods but more or less I've just been REALLY busy at work.

Started work on a set of projectors. I'll post up pics as I go along but the main thing I've been working on is the trans. Ryan (a23dranger) and I changed the clutch and TB and fork about 2 weeks ago but I was still having major problems getting into 1st and 2nd. So after talking to Ed Peters (cool guy BTW) I took my trans apart and am sending it to him to go over and rebuild.

I had the same exact problem. Almost felt like you were locked out of 1st and 2nd unless you were basically stopped.

After looking at mine it really wasn't the shifter ALTHOUGH Ed will insist you get a maddog if you don't have one. If you look at the one pic of the "guts" you can see the 1/2 shift fork is really scored up bad. I mean when I drained the trans fluid it looked like paint that has high metal flake in it. That's how much brass was in there. Ed charges $150 to do what ever needs to be done ( he goes through everything) + the cost of the parts he needs to fix it. He will even walk you through pulling out the guts and re-installing everything. I would seriously give him a call. 1-830-685-3804

On a side note.... Ryan, what impact do you have????? I just kept saying "that darn Ryan" all day long with every bolt I had to fight with to break. :)

bought some new rims and tires for the upcoming show year. They are Private, 18 x 8 in rims with a 40mm offset and 215-40-18 tires. I decided I had to customize them as with with everything sooo, check um out!

Awesome info and thanks for the phone number! is that a personal or business number? I don't just want to call out of the blue lol. Wheels look great too bud. As I told Ryan, I have a Hurst STS in this car but I do have a maddog in my other neon.

he's retired so this is his personal # but also his business. He's an hr earlier than us since he's in TX but all he asks is not to call past 10. Just give him a call, tell him what you have and he'll talk your ear off :) Totally cool guy!!!! My trans is already on its way back to me, he checked everything and the synchros were fine but the 1-2 and 3-4 shift forks were bad. The 3-4 shift fork was the main problem for me not being able to get from 3rd to 2nd because it was bent and not ingauging the synchros. Total price shipped back $469

LOL ya my wife noticed it but thought it was funny too and it was the only pic that actually turned out good. Also forks IF they have them could be around $300 each.

So I went to Tom's today to work on the car some more. He was kind enough to install the headlights for me :) while I struggled with the trans. Actually wasn't that bad.
