Well I picked up another car to work on. Sold off everything 2gn but my daily beater (which i will be selling once this is running). Was trying to save money but came across this for a screaming deal. Anyways its a 98 Flame Red ACR coupe that had the T belt break. Car has 67k miles on it. Really clean car with minor chips and flaws here and there but thats me just picking apart a 14 year old car that the last 5 years sat out side. Some nice mods came with the car. Has mopar high rate x springs, factory konis yet, energy bushing kit, b&m short throw shifter, crane adjustable cam gears, crane firepower wires, crane 18's, crane springs, crane titanium retainers, 1mm oversized valves, decked head with port and polishing, ported intake manifold, 60mm modern throttle body, afx long tube, high flow cat, 2.5 exhaust with flowmaster camaro muffler, afx under drive pulley, iceman intake, egr delete, full motor mount insert kit, 2.0 bottom end with 10.5.1 compression and was built by cox racing, brand new in the box depo chrome projectors/ marker lights, timing belt, tensioner, pt/shadow axles in the trunk, Mopar ecu, Clutchmasters clutch and Quiafe lsd. All for $1600 bucks. As i looked into the car more i found the head was wrecked. The journals are toast and someone along the way stripped 15 of the 20 studs on the car. RRRRR

So the Plan for the car is to throw my 2.4 motor in it with the crane valve train, crane 18 cams, fidanza cam gears, redo all the suspension and brakes, ect. As of now i have bought the m.p 2.4 adaptor kit, 24lb 05 stang injectors, m.p alum shift knob, neon floor mats, new depo chrome headlights, full top end gasket kit, new prothane bushing kit, new ball joints, new tie rods, gsates srt-4 t-belt kit, braille ext-18 battery, acr decals, 16" silverstone wheels with new tires, new 00-02 wheel bearings and hubs to run the pt axle/shawdow axle upgrade, 00-02 calipers, rotors, pads up front, 19mm 2gn rear sway bar, leranzo alt pulley, frog gauge pod, oil pressure gauge, every suspension part has been sand blasted and powder coated or painted. I need an afc yet, wideband 02, cam pin on the crane 18 intake drilled and repinned (broke), arp ls1 rod bolts to get it all together and running.

What a beaut! :thumbup: I can see why you dropped the cash for it. Like the pic of the embroidered floor mats- I remember thinking that was a nice touch when I had my '95.

A little update. Traded/sold a few parts and picked up an safc II for the car, lorenzo alt underdrive pulley, frog eye pod, oil pressure gauge, and oil catch can. Made a mount for the safc II in the ash tray area. It fits so nicely down there and is out of sight. Ill be ordering more parts soon to finish the car once i finish up the few odds and ends on my daily so i can get that sold off to buy more.

Small update. picked up some arp rod bolts for the 2.4, neon racing decal from austin98r/t and found out another nice thing about the car. Pulled the iceman battery tray out for the 90less ill be ordering soon and double checked the trans tags. to my surprise it has a 3.94 HD in it. Im thinking its a new or low milage 01-02 maybe early 03 unit since it has the aa ending code and the original owner built the car in 02-03ish. Sweet deal. Little higher speed in 1st,2nd, 4th and stronger overall. Just like my old green coupe had.

Blows off dust. havent updated the log for lil while. most of ya who comment are on my f.b so i tend to forget about the few who arent. haha anways lots has happened and more to come.

Moved to a new garage and tryed to get the car done for Carlisle but just didn't happen. well now im going to build the car full on and not look back. so some of the things i did will be un done and replaced and what not

Anyways i traded/sold some parts for crower stage 4 cams instead of the crane 18s, mopar lifters and rockers,got srt seats, maddog 72-4/1 shifter, bbs acr wheels, new center caps, 205-50-16 falken tires, aem wideband, oil pressure gauge, alpine amp, infinity speakers, euro tails, folding mirrors, d2 coilovers and more. Did a full wire tuck on the engine and bay. That is getting redone since i am no going megasquirt ms2v3 in full stand alone setup.. also doing some things to the car i cant say as of right now yet.

I'm liking the splatter paint job on the intake.
If the parts car is cleaner rust wise than your car, swap the inner dash panels (VIN) and use the parts car with your title.
But don't street race..!!??
