love the progress so far, but i do have one favor please don't be a douche and gut the butterflies in the mag intake like some people when they go turbo. instead buy and AMM, RT ernie, or something else. just a pet peeve of mine save those for guys on small budgets trying to do the NA thing. thats what i did with mine anyway. again great build

Gotta a bit done today. Gave the car a much needed wash and vacuum. Installed upper and lower mount inserts. These are so easy to install and I recommend to everyone. I nvr feel vibration so far and the throttle response and wheel hop is a lot better. Now I just need the tranny mount.

Also finally got my next part in the mail....

The mag intake works great with boost without the butterflies, I don't have a copy of the chart off hand, but generally cars with mag intake without butterflies spool faster than ones with working butterflies. I have yet to see a back to back dyno of a boosted car with an aftermarket intake and with a mag intake with the butterflies removed.

Nothin awesome to say about my project. Changed my transmission fluid yesterday. Made a surprising difference.

The more exciting thing that will benefit my project is I got a full time job at a local Chevy dealer for the rest of summer and then ill have part time while I'm in school! Turbo project is all engines GO!

Hey man, car is lookin good! I'd take those skirts for $40 if I were you...they are hard to find! If he indeed has the part that is broke off, body shops have products that can fix it. Oh yeah, glad you like the super minty injector cover :)
