Thanks Tom.

I drove the car on its first voyage to work today. She did great. No issues. I love this new clutch plus this 3.55 trans feels great compared to my old 3.94 setup. I didn't even have to go into 5th gear on my way to work.

Now time to do the 500miles break in for the new clutch. So I'm going to be daily driving it as much as I can. I can't wait to see how boost feels with this trans.

Heres some better pictures of my front bumper intercooler setup.

I think it would look a lot better without the black on the lip. I'd leave the black on the bumper itself, but keep the lip red. The new intercooler looks nice.

Finally someone said something about that. I've been debating removing the black. It's just old plastidip. I'm sure I could remove it easy. Next time I have actual time in my hands I may just remove it.

I fucking hate it when people do that to SRT bumpers. It honestly doesn't look as bad on your car, but I still don't like it. The red lip would look great if it was peeled off.

Image🤣 Alright. The black on the bumper was something I did like 2 years ago just to see how It would look. Something I always wanted to try just like the front bumper cutout with new intercooler.

But yes it's going to come off possibly as soon as tomorrow. May have some time on my hands before work tomorrow.

Heres an updated engine shot.

There's still little things I'm going to change/clean up. 1 being my overflow bottle which can't be seen in this picture but it's over to the left there. I ordered a brand new stock replacement reservoir and I'll use some heat shielding ( gold tape perhaps) tape to protect it from the turbo heat. Image

I agree on taking the black off too on the front fascia

Yeah the worse part is breaking in a new clutch. 500 STOP AND GO MILES. Remember that. I would log the miles when I would go into town. Interstate/highway miles didn't count. Seems to take forever haha

That's a good idea about tracking the miles. I'm currently only at 35 miles in one week. There's about a month before I take the 1100ish round trip to Carlisle PA for the show which I doubt I'll even hit 250miles of stop and go by then. Wherever I'm at mileage wise I'll write down before the trip to Carlisle PA.

So far with the new intercooler & hotside pipe being under the engine I'm noticing way cooler engine bay temps even on hot 95* outside days.

I bought a replacement coolant bottle from Amazon and it looks good and fits good. Bought some gold reflective heat tape as well. I've never used the stuff so I hope it works.

And I'm back with 1 brand new part. So I've been searching for some stock headlights on ebay recently. Thought I would just buy me a set of bone stock ones because I hate my current Depo projectors. Well to my surprise I came upon a listing for Depo diamonds which have been discontinued for some time now. I thought to my self could this really be true. Maybe it's worded wrong and I'll recieve a stock set. Well I went trough and purchased them. Then they were marked shipped. 3 days later I recieved them and I couldn't be happier. It indeed is the Depo diamonds which should be way better then the Depo projectors.

Heres a picture of the new Depo diamonds and a comparison to the ones I have currently installed.

Hopefully going to install them soon and take some new pictures. I'll be extra careful with this new set. My current depo projectors I stripped the aim adjusters out and the mount bracket broke along time ago. They are junk basically. ImageImage

Nice. I've always preferred a good set of reflectors over projectors. Such a cleaner look.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments.

Haven't had time to install them. Tho I did have time to remove my old black plastidip off my front bumper lip. I'm never using dip again. So terrible to take off. Plus I ruined the paint underneath it to the point I'm going to repaint the lip itself. Now I know rest of the car has somewhat bad paint but I just can't leave the front lip looking all terrible. Anyways here it is.

Nice. hope to see pictures with the new lamps installed. I bet it will look 100x better. Yeah if you don't put many coatings of dip on its a PITA to take off. But if you do many layers it should be pretty easy

Here they are. Best picture I have so far. I installed them during my lunch break yesterday at work.

These depo Diamonds look/feel of much better build quality than the projectors. Already in love with them.

Even without adjusting them, they are already better at night then the projectors ever were.

They are close to oem, but OEM's and cheaper stock replacements don't have the free form reflectors.

Free form reflectors>redirecting light via the lense.

100% agreed the new headlights look way better. I always thought projectors looked goofy on cars that obviously came with a standard beam from the factory. A 2g Integra, or even my wife's Mazda3, they look good.

Well, thanks! I was at a local car show a few weeks ago and was sitting by the front of my car (the hood was up). A show guest complimented me on the fact that I have one of the few stock SRT-4's. I had the hardest time convincing him that my car hasn't been stock for years!

And now, back to Manny's great thread. :D

hey 2gn members who are still around and not on FB. i made it to Carlisle this year. car ran great there and back yet again. some 1100ish miles and not one hiccup. heres my set of random pictures i took neon related.

i wasnt at the meet for 2017 but this year we had a much better location. we had a huge area actually. plus i find it funny that they put the srt10 rams and vipers right in front of us.

Bump. Ha.

Got my fogs working again. Forgot how much they come in handy especially in my neon. They are so bright. I love it.

Also I bought this center bezel piece from someone at Carlisle. Can't remember his name I'm sorry when and if he sees this but he is on here.

And I'm currently looking at getting a dual gauge pillar pod to remove my frog eye pod. I've come to hate my frog eye pods. I'll be able to view my boost gauge and wideband easily on the pillar.

I can and will mold the dual pod in to make it look neat. ImageImageImage

Why do you hate the frog eye pods?? They're fine. You can see your gauges plenty clearly in the shot below:
