Project SnowWhite: booger bushings installed

Post by NeonNick925 » Tue Mar 18, 2014 9:05 am

Picked up a 3rd 2gn. Needs some TLC but it runs and drives as is. Needs a rear main seal, waterpump, timing belt and rotors n pads. Paid $200 for it so instill got a killer deal imo. Has VisRacing CF Invader hood, srt rear bumper, led tails, srt stock shifter, motegi m7 wheels with a bunch of curb rash but they have brand new tires :)

Will keep this updated as often as possible.

Changed spark plugs n wires n coilpack. Cylinder #2 had oil all over it. Poor car had autolite platinum plugs gapped way to big. Put champion coppers in. Will be swapping VC, have a r/t VC with good condition spark plug tube seals to fix the #2 oil problem.

Not bad! For another $150 and a few hours work you'll have a strong running DD for under $500, can't beat that!

The shifter was extremely loose even while in gear so I ordered a set of booger bushings which will be here tomorrow hopefully. My neighbor gave me a set of HIDs for the purple neon so I took the Sylvania ZXE bulbs and put them in SnowWhite. The neighbor also helped me polish the oxidation of the headlights. They came out great IMO as they are the original headlights from the purple so they're 14 years old haha.

Her she is at the neighbors getting ready to be polished up.

She still needs some goof off to remove the side molding glue.

^^ At least my OEM ones were still there when I replaced them with Boogers at chipdogg's last fall (they were pretty much gone though).
