i'll make a few suggestions

if you want something that is actually going to perform nicely and not just give you a decent ride look into koni STR struts, much better quality than cheapo monroes.

as for oil, go with Mobil 1 high mileage 5w30

The thing is I just bought this stuff based of the budget I had at the moment, since I just bought it don't want to replace them just yet, would it be a waste to get front and rear sway bars with the current setup?

thats understandable but if you want to lower the monroe wont ride as well but if you are staying stock they should be fine. sway bars would be a nice upgrade, the front shoudnt affect much unless you get an srt sway bar and but the stock one should be fine. Adding a rear if you dont have one makes it feel so much better. i have one waiting to go on untill i save up for some new struts. but a rear bar is a very cost effective suspension upgrade for 03-05 neons that dont have them already

yeah you'll need a rear sway as yours doesnt have one. go to a junk yard and rip one off of any 00 or any 2gn r/t

you do want to make sure that your struts have the tabs(which they should) to mount the sway bar to.

and..... :ttiwwp:

No. You'll need a 2-DIN HVAC bezel which you'll either have to make or buy one that someone else already made.

Agreed. Just buy one from the mexican guy on facebook that fiberglasses and bondos crap together to make them. It will likely break before you even receive it but it will be good enough for whatever you're trying to do here.

Looks don't mean jack for a stereo if it's cheap and doesn't function very well.

so what would you recommend?

I want a stereo between 100-200$ including installation

I usually just play music through my ipod with an aux but would like to be able to play music off a large usb and navigate through the stereo

That's something you'll have to google.

As far as installation, crutchfield typically gives the wire kit for free, so it should only cost you an addition $10 or so to install.

I use an Alpine ida-x001. No CD slot, strictly USB input, and specifically for iPod. It's old and discontinued, as well as the ida-x100 which is a a year or two newer than mine. They can be had well within that price range.

Oh, and they're single DIN, slides straight in.

I put a digital media receiver in my neon a few months ago. I really like it and I certainly do not miss messing with CDs anymore. You get lots of room behind the radio. I had to extend the antenna cable though, which was not too bad as the connector was broken for a while anyway and had to be fixed finally.
