im back, just not in a neon

been a long time since ive been on here and in the past couple years alot has changed. completely parted out the neon, damn near every nut and bolt. still have some parts fs on here.
anyway, that brings us to the newest project. picked up an 88 ram 50 for 2500 about a month ago from an older 'MINI TRUCK" guy. things clean as a whistle minus a few scratches. paint is only a couple years old, though not the greatest quality. motor was rebuilt 30k ago, new clutch and front end parts, tie rods, ball joints, bushings, ect... newer tires on eagle alloys. clean, just not really my style. like i said, its an "old school mini truck" so the interior needs gone thru as its hideous imo (flames in the headliner, very plushy seats and door panels that have started to become sun-faded ect...) but im going to slowly make it more my own.
picked it up to use as a commuter to save miles on my 97 cummins but we know how that goes... already thinking of a 4g63 swap... we'll see. currently its a 2.6 with a 5 speed. doesnt leak a drop! the carb has a gajibilzillion vacuum lines, almost all of which are cracked/leaking. swaping it out for a weber 32/36 and going to throw on a header since the stock one is cracked somewhere. its got an electric fan shround with two fans, not sure what its from, but whoever installed them did a terrible job. old 16 gauge wiring with a ton of unnecessary connections, old/used relays and of course no fuses. the wiring shorted out a relay which was wired directly to the ignition wire to the starter so when the relay burnt up, so did the starter solenoid cussing: so ive already gotten intimate with the truck a bit by now. rewired the fans with new relays, fuses, and 10 gauge wire and put each fan on its own toggle switch (because racecar) and a new starter all within the first three days of owning it
suspension is terrible. bounces all over the road so im going to try ans stiffen it up, add a rear sway bar, and try to lower the rear end some more as i think its a lil high.
going to ditch the tiny grant wheel just not sure for what yet and looking into swapping out the bench for some buckets. along with new door panels and some new tint since its starting to peel on the upper windows and bubble in the rear. also want to have the bed bedlined. it was a painters truck before so theres all kinds of paint in the bed
heres some pics, enjoy

after cleaning it up for the first time:
