Progressive has come a long way in the past fifteen years. I got into a minor fender bender with my old SRT ACR. They took great care of me. Even though it was my fault, it didn't raise my rates and they did a great job on the car. So far USAA has been great to deal with and Progressive is doing well with the medical aspect.

Sucks to see this! but cars can be replaced.. last accident i got in, i stripped the car of anything non structural and got the rest when i dropped it at the Junk yard...

i got hit on the front fender by someone with progressive and they were great! made the process much less painfull..

Good luck with health and replacement car whatever it may be.

Glad that others haven't had the same terrible experience with Progressive that I had. I had a long battle with them back in 2003 which ended with my filing a complaint with the Indiana Department of Insurance. [/end rant]

Oh man. That really sucks. Hopefully the neck injury/insurance stuff all turned out ok.

Yeah, the neck stuff was minor and insurance paid out just fine.

I'm trying to sell what's left of the car now. I only removed the wheels, coilovers, CD player, and motor mounts. They were all replaced with stock parts. The rest of the goodies stayed.

This car sold last week to a guy who works in a body shop. The car is fixed and roadworthy already, which is pretty cool.
