Stand alone and stock gauges in 2000 Neon 2gen

hi,

how to run a stock gauges (rpm, speedometr, temp) in neon 2gen on the megasqurit or other sa ecu.

MS will be a piggy back in a 2gn. You can't run ms2 as standalone in 2gn without loosing factory gauges. 1gns can but 2gns cannot.

The fuel gauge will work, but none of the others will. They are operated by signals from the PCM via the PCI bus. The board in the cluster decodes the signals and positions the gauge needles where they need to be.

AFAIK, no one has bothered to make something to emulate what the PCM sends to the cluster from the sender inputs. Replacing the cluster with old school gauges would probably be easier and cheaper for 99.9% of neon owners.

Not without the factory PCM plugged in, and functioning.

The PCI Bus is one wire. That wire carries pulsed voltage signals in various time lengths in both directions. Both the PCM and cluster decode the signals for each particular purpose. Unless you have a way to isolate that part of the PCM that receives the sender inputs and encodes them, there just isn't a feasible way to do it.

but is AEM EMS dedicated to the SRT-4 and then run gauges

aem ems does not control oem gauges. Aem recommends Racepak dash when using their system. It's a strictly race type setup not meant for street cars. This would only work on 03-up wiring harness for srt4, not ngc neon. Unfortunately your stuck using a piggy back system.

I made a full srt-4 wirning harnes swap and use stock PCM,

probably will use diablosport itune
