^ :(

I wish I could call in that day, but doing that 2 weeks into my new job probably isn't a great idea. Hell I'm pretty nervous just about asking in advance about it!

So here's my plan... A couple days before I start at the new job, I'm gonna call the new boss man. Rather than saying I have a car show to go to, which sounds pretty unprofessional, I'm gonna tell him that I had plans to be out of town for the weekend to visit family. Well, something along those lines. It's more likely to get a good result IMO. Thoughts?

whats so amazing about neons is...the fact that if you wreck it, most times the driver walks away unharmed...like i hit a car at 65...so 65 to 0 mph, nothing happened to me...not eve a scratch..i was shaken up, but i was okay. my car took it like a champ and saved my life...it did its one main job...man i love that car, i miss it soo much everyday...:(

CF fenders? No friend of mine, not sure who you're talking about..

I hope my plan works. I'm gonna call my new boss this week so we'll know soon! He's gonna send a flat bed tow truck to get my tool box, so I'll ask him while we arrange that.

Alright so I asked my new Service Manager for the 9th off. He hasn't gotten back to me yet with an answer. I hate to say it, but if he says no, I'm gonna have to eat it and work. Can't ruin my reputation a week into my new career path. Damn I hope he approves it.

nah there isn't gonna be anytime the morning of the show to be able to make a run... so I'm thinking just have everything ready. as far as beer, i don't think you can drink in a public park, so pretty sure thats a no go. chairs are a definite, but again i think thats a bring your own type situation...

and Mr. excited, i was just thinking you stopped texting me... what up wit dat???

***edit: i am gonna bring my world famous pasta salad!!!***

what ever kind of meat you want to cook then eat, and a side to share with the group! make sure you call dibs on what you are bringing so we dont wind up with a million bags of chips... and byob too!

Alright guys it's confirmed, I got the day off!

Hmm my meat on someone else's grill. Sounds about right.

Christian - As if we haven't heard THAT before. lmao!

Sean - Pasta salad sounds dope can't wait.

As of now, I work until 5 on the 8th, so the earliest we can realistically be down there is 9, but I would count on 10-11, especially since the old lady is coming :) When is the cruise over?

Oh and P.S. DIBS on bringing chips. I'm tryin to travel light, literally.
