PS3 owners

Post by half_twisted » Wed Jan 09, 2008 6:20 pm

not sure where to post this so here it goes anyways. I just got a 80g ps3 last month and so far i have been playing the not so exciting motorstorm game online via dsl network moden. I also downloaded like 5 themes on 1/6/08 from the net and installed them on the hard drive, now for my question. I noticed since last week that my WLAN light indicatore stays on even though the system/ps3 is turned off. so its on while im playing then i turn the system off and 3 hrs later the light is still on. I listen close to it and could hear the drive working or maybe the fan. is this normal?
the WLAN indicatore is the one right light of 2 next to the usb ports.

I moved it already, and you might want to try a gaming forum for a problem like that, or sony.

The PS3 can connect with a PSP through the nextwork and can be turned on remotely, the network needs to be semi-active for it to work. This came down in the last System Update is completely awesomeness over the top. I can now play Croc from work while the PSx disc is in my PS3.
Justin- I have nothing but smart ass remarks to add.
