4621653 NIPPLE-HEATER RETURN $7.75

Tho it is not the return... Pretty bad when DCX doesn't know the flow of their own systems.

The stud, you really don't want to buy from the dealer. Did you put two nuts on it,and tighten them together and put the wrench on the inner nut and try to back them out that way?

6505314AA Stud $63.50 each

Yes that is correct, hence why you want to double nut them and re-use. :D

I have that nipple lying around, but I went to the parts store, and got one with a hex, so it is easier to remove. You obviously need the special tool to remove/install the factory one without butchering it.

Or just use two more regular IM screws. The studs are more for ease of assembly. you could get two longer screws and cut the heads off and hacksaw a slot in. Then use those to guide it into place and remove them with a screwdriver after you get a few of the regular ones in.

Nice work!

IDK why the oem ones are so expensive. Unless they have a high tensile strength or something. The DOHC aluminum IM's also have two studs, but they use 8 mm screws/studs. The cost for the DOHC studs: Under $5 each. :tardbang:
