Part Number Request: Air Make Up Hose

Post by freelancer1988 » Mon Jan 28, 2013 12:42 am

I have a 2002 Dodge neon SE Automatic 4 speed. Needing a new hose on the back side of the valve cover. Everything is good, except the 90 degree rubber piece that hooks on the valve cover and the plastic hose. Hopefully someone knows what I mean. I could not find it, but do I have to replace the entire hose or just the 90 degree elbow piece? Anyways. I did search and could not find the information. Thanks in advance. OEM or aftermarket advice work for me... just trying to get all my vacuum leaks fixed.

4667989AD HOSE, Make Up Air List Price: $19.70

Have to buy the entire tube, they don't sell the elbow separately. :(

That won't cause a vacuum leak, but could let unfiltered air into the crankcase.

Thank you very much. I knew it was not a vacuum leak... after I looked at it better today. lol. Most of the hoses are needing a replacement.
