Part Number Request: Clutch pedal bushing ?

Post by ltr450r » Tue Nov 09, 2010 2:36 pm

This is for a 2005 SXT with manual 5 speed. I need the part number for the two axle seals.

And I need the part number for the bushing piece that connects the clutch pedal to the clutch master cylinder rod.. Its number 5 in the pic below I believe.. Thanks

4670265 BUSHING, Hydraulic Clutch Actuator $9.75

4761107 SEAL, Axle Drive Shaft
Part number 4761107 was superceded by part number CS04797334.
No Part Found
$0.00
:tardbang:

So, from the '01 parts listing:

4797334 SEAL AXLE DRIVE SHAFT $9.60

Pretty sure they are the same seal. Just verify with the parts guy. AFAIK, the t350, or axles haven't changed.

PN Request: Clutch pedal bushin piece

Post by ltr450r » Sun Nov 21, 2010 2:00 pm

I ordered number 5 in the picture but it was only the bushing. I need the piece (marked by green arrow ^^) that the bushing goes into. The screw #4 holds this piece on. Can you buy just this piece or do you have to buy the whole actuator?

THanks

They come with the clutch master cylinder. RageTek sells a billet aluminium one but AFAIK, they're not in stock and won't be for a while. Ask on Realtune's website for approximate dates.

Vendor on SRT forums: LCR but they may still be sold out also.

Gotta be careful with those. Juan bent two clutch master cylinder shafts using them, as have a lot of people on SRT forums. It is a known problem, but I don't know if they have a fix yet.

Which is sad cause I want it :(

*Edit* The above applies if it's the same part that MPx sells.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

I believe LCR makes their own.

MPX doesn't carry them anymore.

This is what MPX used to sell:

I can see where you may bend the master cylinder if you adjust it too far, and bottom the slave, before the master, or if the pressure plate has a heavy return force. I can't tell from the MPX pic if the centerline for the shaft is offset from the hole centerline like the stock part. I would like one too, as with the Spec, the plastic pivot flexes pretty good.

well the only other option is what? buy a new factory master cylinder? And Ragetek's is on back order until next year just so yall know. I haven't been able to get up with LCR to see if they have any.

edit: LCR is sold out for a while as well.. Looks like i'll be going back with the factory plastic

Yep, you have to either source one from a JY, or buy a new master cylinder. :(

Yeah, if it is going to bend the steel rod, it would have snapped the plastic end off anyways. Either way, you are buying a new MC.
