Seinfield was on there, and he announced Richards (Kramer) was going to apologize, and he indeed did so... It was really weird and he looked like he was gonna cry, the funny part was he was calling them "Afro" americans in his thing on Letterman.... Don't black people get offended by that? That was totally uncalled for. The audience member didn't help matters by calling him a cracker in defence, but either way, any racial slur is unacceptalbe, by any race, no matter what context they use it in.

Were you at the show? How do you know no one, for example, heckled him with offensive name-calling beforehand? You know that 3 minute clip doesn't show you everything that happened. Of course, this doesn't justify or excuse Richards' actions, but it sure leaves us little evidence to judge the guy with, too.

And yes, he clearly was very angry. Michael Richards is NOT a stand-up comedian and probably didn't know how to deal with hecklers that well.
