Exhaust comparison

Post by Donkeypuncher » Sun Dec 18, 2011 3:36 am

A friend wants to get a long tube header and wanted to hear how much rasp it adds to the sound. I figured this video might be useful for those wondering the same thing.

Just got some video editing software so I've been playing around with it for a few days. Need some improvement but I'm still learning.

That's a good comparison vid.

I'll add this, it's a long tube with no cat and a fart can. Hard to see in the vid because it's dark.

Moral of the story; don't get LTH if you want your car to sound decent?

Kind of. You can always add a glasspack or resonator, probably what I'm gonna do.

Not sure if the mid-length and shorty headers do the same thing, I'd guess it's not as noticeable.
