Part Number Request : Stock Rear Springs

Post by 340duster » Sat Apr 05, 2014 9:59 pm

I am in the need of the correct part number for a 2000 Dodge Neon 4 door automatic, rear springs. I replaced the originals last year with quick struts and threw away the factory parts, not realizing the height the car would sit at. So I am wanting to replace the aftermarket springs with factory pieces, but I need the correct part number. I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Bob

Email customerassist@chrysler.com and ask for a build sheet for your car. It still may leave you guessing tho.

This is from the one they sent for my '99
SDCS Touring Suspension
"SDC" seems to apply to all listed there. but the strut's dampening also plays into the ride.

A call to the dealer parts person with your VIN would get you the exact ones that came from the factory.

But really all of them will work, it's just a matter of what type of ride you are after.

Thanks very much! :) I will try customer assist. I mainly want to get the car back to a factory ride height. The aftermarket strut asm. just has the car so high in the rear.

Thanks again

No luck with customer assist. But the dealer I called checked my VIn and said my car was originally built with the 284 springs. So that is what I ordered.
Thanks for all the help
