Part Number Request: Wing stabilizers?
Does anyone know the name and PN for the little foam triangles that are next to each taillight? They have adhesive that sticks to the quarter panel under the trunk lid and I think that they are there for stabilizing the wings. I showed the ones on my car to the parts guys at my dealership but their online parts explosion doesn't really single them out.

It's just a little foam block that is glued on the top of the inside black part of the tail light to supposedly keep the trunk from moving around due to the wing. I think only 03+ got them. I could be wrong.

oh gotcha, he confused me with triangle, he meant rectangle. Yeah mine had those as well but the sticky on it wore off and fell off. i dont think its that critical that you need to replace it gramps but if you feel compelled to do so i'd say just find a piece of foam, get some double sided sticky tape and slap one back on.

Well I cannot promise this is correct, as it is not shown in the illustration.
5008663AD STOP/BMPR DECK LID/ BUMPER, Deck Lid, Drain Trough $7.20
It is only listed in the "Spoiler - Rear Deck Lid
Figure SPL-1315" Illustration.
Maybe have your parts person look up that, in case they were looking at the tail lamp illustration.

That might be the rubber screw that rests against the rubber stop on the bumper when closed.

My '02 SXT had them- the dealership replaced them under warranty when they fell off that car (yes, I am that anal when it comes to having all OEM on the car).sidepipe87 wrote:I think only 03+ got them. I could be wrong.

Correct. This showed up in the parts explosion and I explained that to the parts manager.occasional demons wrote:Nope, that would be the "BUMPER, Deck Lid Overslam" 5008374AB

I'll give them the info you were nice enough to find and order a couple of sets (so I'll have some when the ones I'm putting on now rot and Chrysler has stopped having them available).occasional demons wrote:5008663AD STOP/BMPR DECK LID/ BUMPER, Deck Lid, Drain Trough $7.20
