Does anyone know the part # and price for the gasket seals for the rear spoiler?

For $100 after tax, my cheap azz would be going to the JY, or Rock Auto, if they carry them.

I have a monthly car fund. 60 a month is budgeted towards stuff for the neon. All I have to do is not touch it until I have enough to get whatever. Thus also the reason why I have to wait until next to buy my coilovers.

Need the gaskets because when we get rains here, it opens up and just pours. And I don't want my trunk full of water.

just use a light layer of blue rtv sealant around the holes then reinstall the spoiler. i did this on my 1gn and no leaks whatsoever. and unlike some sealants you can peel this off and its not going to harm the paint.

Without a doubt this.

$100 for two little gaskets is nuts.

Could also get foam gasketing material and make them yourself.

I used to have the stuff in the garage. I will have to get some more later today. Wife's day off so we are going over to Alabama and visiting Bass Pro Shops. :D

Edit: I have the spoiler off now and I cleaned the area where it goes. Now to get the Blue RTV.

Interesting to know what Chrysler will have to shell out the next time I'm in for service (my car is still under warranty  ).

Thank you Justin for the advice. Instead of the gaskets costing me 100 I only spent 6 bucks for the sealant. Spoiler is back on and hopefully no water leakage.

Unfortunately, yes. They have been replaced under warranty once already. Part of the inside of my trunklid has been repainted twice under warranty due to rusting from the leak (driver's side). The dealership actually then glued the spoiler on (this was what Chrysler supposedly told them to do for repair) so I am afraid of what will happen to my paint when it is removed to replace the gaskets.
