Part Number Request: Antenna Delete Plug

Post by C1DoG » Tue Aug 23, 2011 10:43 am

Not really a request as it is information.
Dealers still have the plug. It is part #4794300aa.

From SRT Forums:
danteneon wrote:Ummm, I work for Manassas Dodge in VA. This plug is still very available...part # 4794300AA. Order from your local dealer, they shouldn't gouge you for more than $2.00. This is a black rubber plug that fills the hole, should be paintable with the right prep work.

I actually got the part number from my dealer this morning. I didn't see the thread on srt forums. We will see if they can get me the part.

I didn't even know they made these. I may call the dealer just to see if they can get any and for how much. I have a shorty antenna but this would be pretty neat to toss on since I do not use the radio at all.

I ordered a hidden antenna that I am going to attach to the inside top of the back window.. So I was looking for the plug. I hope they have the part I need. Since everyone is saying it has been discontinued and no one has one.

That's why this part is in the rare parts thread.

Maybe that quake rattled it free from Dante's car. You should hurry over there, and snatch it up.

I did. The dealership is like right down the road from me so I told him that I'd be right there to pick it up and did so. I'm surprised they had it because usually they have nothing I need...but then again, it's not SRT-4 specific like some of the stuff I need when I'm doing something. Not sure if I'll use it yet, since I do like my custom billet shorty antenna, but they are out there...call your dealership.
