Every damn PDF that Chris gave me, only lists the BUX fog light housings

5288592AF 1 [LNJ,MLU,MLZ], Right, Export
5288593AF 1 [LNJ,MLU,MLZ], Left, Export

Basically the '00 through '02 style.

Not sure why they only have the export, but both the 2010 and 2016 versions he gave me, all the 2003, 2004, and 2005 PL parts only show the BUX listing. I guess I never noticed, because I never looked up front lighting for an NGC neon.

One of the odd glitches with the Mopar parts listings...


Even the headlights, turn signals, and rear lighting is all BUX.

Easy as searching an online dealer....

Apparently it is the same housing for either side.

I think I have a used set somewhere that SXT Steve took off his '03 when he put some aftermarket lights on years ago. They didn't seem to be side specific.

Either way, that's the only number they provide for domestic.

Even their illustration says BUX...

Edit: Now that I know what I'm looking for, the parts catalog does list it, but the way it's done with the BUX, it's not clear what you are looking at. Normally they show a different illustration for domestic, and export, or just the domestic, with Export numbers specified.

They apparently only show the "BUX" illustration for exterior lamps.

The Quantity for that PN 5303482AF is two pieces, so it is the same both sides.

I really appreciate all of your help. I too would have wondered about all of the BUX references. I should have had the two fog fixtures replaced when I did the headlights during the front bumper work. Well, I'll have to find them first.

First of two new fog lights arrived today. It has a date of 2/25/08 on it.

The second is backordered.

So you have to wonder, since these are only listed for 2003 to 2005 neons, was DCX (and beyond), actually having them produced past 2005....

They certainly didn't make anything else past production, to supply parts needs. Just sold off surplus...

I guess that the date on the Mopar sticker would be the manufacture date (or perhaps the date of packaging and when it went into inventory).

Still waiting on the second one to arrive.

Looking at my mother's '07 Caliber, the fog lights look exactly the same, at least on the surface. Not tearing the front fascia off to get a better look...

So if they are the same, an '08 manufacturing date would make sense.
