Post by Panhead » Mon Nov 23, 2009 2:10 pm

Looking for a SKIM key that has the Pentastar on it. I have seen a guy that had one. Let me know. Thanks.

Not sure if they still make them, but I have a few for my car.

The old part number for the penastar logo key was 5010366AA or 5010366AB. These have been changed to the 5018869AA which has a Chrysler logo iirc.

There are still some dealers that show the old part number, but I would recomend using Ilco key #16043. It is the same quality as the OE key and has the penastar logo.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Are you sure 16043 is the right pn? I've been searching and no luck.

If it has been discontinued, by Ilco you may not find/get one. I ran into this trying to get a Nissan key for our forklift. The number on the key was no longer available. Had to use a longer style key.

Doing some digging leads me to belive that that key is no longer available :(

In the black headed key it's still good, but not in the chip key.
