Part Number Request: Ram pick up trac-lok

Post by charger440neon2.0l » Thu Jun 24, 2010 1:06 am

I need to rebuild my Trac-lok in the 9.25 rear of my 90' Ram. The Trac-lok originally came from a 99 Ram 1500 with a 9.25.
I'm needing part numbers for
clutches
steels
bellville washers
retaining pin (I already know 03507724 won't work since my dealer sold that to me, but it works with opens and sure-grip units)
C-Clips- 04137669

If I'm missing any parts I should replace let me know.

I'll try to find actual Mopar numbers when I get home tonight.

The parts source I have only shows one option:

part number 5161549AA Differential case 9 1/4 GEAR with [DSA] 1998 - 2000 $889.00

An ARB air locker would be cheaper...

Yeah exactly like that, but I would prefer to get from the dodge dealer because I have some mopar gift cards that I can use at my dealer.
5161549AA Differential
That is the cone type Sure-Grip unit its not rebuildable. I upgraded my truck from the sure-grip to the trac-lok that was used from 98 and newer 9.25 heavy duty axles. But the sure-grip seems all anyone can find. The dana 44 trak-lok used in the front differential on 1500 trucks and Jeep differential uses the same clutches and steel plates if you could find part numbers for them there.

Thanks for looking :D

Item 28 GEAR SET, Rear Axle Differential

I cannot promise these are the correct numbers.

Item 29 J0994345AB DISC PACKAGE $302.00 that exactly what I was looking for, it crosses with the 9.25 trac-lok. But DAMN its expensive!! My dealer was able to look it up even with the parts department closed my cost $196.30
I think I'm getting mine from completeoffroad.com

Item 13 1791563 PIN, Cross Shaft Securing $2.45 I'll be finding out monday if this is the correct pin, I hope it don't turn out to be a roll pin but thats the way it looks.

Thanks again for the info.
