Pre-Carlisle mini-meet - Last stop for Carlisle Caravans

Post by NiteHawk » Sun Aug 03, 2008 2:53 pm

*EDITED BY DIABLO0* -
Matt has informed me, anyone that is planning on staying at his place please call or send him a txt to let him know.

His number is 412-303-2869.

Ok, i'm moving this here so its on its own. I posted in the other thread about providing a place to stay prior and after Carlisle for members that are west of PA who dont want to make the long trip all in 1 go.

I live about 45 minutes east of pittsburgh, about 20 miles off the PA turnpike, so if any members want to come here first before going to Carlisle, I'm more than happy to provide sleeping arrangements to make the drive less of a pain, as I know what long long road trips are like.

I have a 2 car garage, and enough parking space for at least 12 cars just in the driveway alone. We have tools, air compressor, power washer, and plenty of cleaning supplies for those that want to prep/detail their cars before leaving for Carlisle. We also have a 16x24 above ground pool w/ 2 decks, chairs, tables w/ umbrella's, burn pit for a fire, grille, billiards table, bar(that means alcohol) for those over 21 (which there's a few celebrating that weekend!), screened in back porch, wireless internet, big screen tv, etc....it is my home afterall :)

Anyone who wants to may stay. I'm taking the whole week off for carlisle to prep my car and help others who stay prep their cars. You can come and go as you please.....just if we get a lot of folks taking the offer, good luck getting out of the driveway, lol...

Only stipulation is if you plan on staying for a few days, plan to pitch in a few bucks for food, and drinks if you plan on drinking alcohol, otherwise soda is free. Also, sorry, no smoking inside...even i cant, lol.

Well, you already have my name on there, but I'm definitely in. I'm calling dibs on a garage spot though!

Also, what are the rules on skinny dipping in the pool? If we're going to have booze, I cannot guarantee Naked Sean won't try to show up...

lol jerry! so just stay out of the basement, and you'll be steelers free

sean, its kinda secluded out here, so you wouldnt be the first to have gone naked in the pool, but for the sake of everyone here(including my parents), PLEASE DONT GET DRUNK!

This IS my home, just try to be somewhat respectful and control yourselves! lol

respect, control? WTF is this the four seasons? I'm not saying I'd be sunbathing at 3 am without my shorts on... maybe just wearing my thong, but not totally nude man, come on!

Got it, so sunbathing in my thong is acceptable at the Nitehawk household, got it. I'll make sure it's properly sized, wouldn't want my legs turning purple from one too small!

My grandparents live in that neck of the woods... I can't be out on the east and not visit them (I grew up just south of Philly before heading to WA). So I figured it would be a great place to have my car drop shipped and start driving from there...

It's 3 or so hours in the wrong direction for me to stay there. Especially when there is a possibility of Nake Sean showing up.

Its no biggie, I have made long road trips before, so I know how tiring it can be. I have no problem opening my home to basically complete strangers as long as they can be respectful of myself, my home, and my neighborhood. After that, its all gravy
