To Carlisle from Indiana....

ok so im gonna be making the trip to carlisle from indianapolis.....i was wanting to caravan with a bunch of neons on the way down....i know for sure that neon4life will be making the trip with me but i want to know who else will be passing thru indiana on their way to PA that way we could all meet up and drive together

3 AM? Dude, why so early? Even at the speed limit, it's only supposed to be a 10-12 hour drive! I plan on leaving here about 10-11ish Central.

Speaking of which, I'm up for caravanning with you guys, I'm just south of columbus. I'll just have to meet you on 270 on the south side of columbus, or at a rest stop on 70 on the east side of the city.

And if you guys did want to make a breakfast or lunch stop at my place, it's just a little south of columbus, good time to park, talk, eat, stretch legs, etc...

well i told patton89 that who i was planning on leaving around 9 am so that way if he and the other 2 or three peolpe he told me would go they could meet in indy and then since they have to pass by my town i could catch up with them like someone would text me as soon as they was passing so i would get on the road.

and dam 3 am is too early. its not going to be a long drive. i mean hey midnite rider as long as you leave by 8 or 7 am its cool. i would catch up with you anyways.lol.

Yeah, you probably will!

Well, last year I just woke up earlier than I had planned and I found that I could take a lot of breaks on the way and still get to the fairgrounds to register by the afternoon so that is my plan for this year. I drive 250 miles or more daily for my full-time job and around 300 on my part-time job on Saturdays so, when I have time off and need to drive somewhere, I like to be able to get out and stretch my legs whenever I want to (unlike when I'm on the clock).

Yay, I'll get to make my yearly stop at Tim Horton's in Columbus, OH during the drive back from Carlisle! $\:D/$

I find ways to stretch in my car to minimize stops. I hate stopping. But having cruise control does have that.

alrite.too early for my blood.lol. wich hotel u staying at.

and if anyone else wants to meet up on the way there post ur address( or pm me it ) and whenever i get time ill google the directions and make a cathup point. meaning we would text or call you when we was close by and you can get on the road and we would see you then, that way we wouldnt have to completely stop.

Sorry for the early launch time but I work nights so I am usually up then. I'm staying at the Motel 6, across the highway from the Harrisburg West.

Don't worry Dave. If I was driving that far I would leave just as early.

I get lucky, so I'll probably get up early and then wash the car and drive up and still be there by 10a on Friday.

Boy, are you lucky! I'm going to spend the majority of Tuesday and Wednesday detailing and packing. News flash: I think that I can safely push the leave time to 4 or 4:30 if I eat breakfast before leaving. I've been updating my route on Microsoft Streets & Trips to plot out everything including restaurant stops and refueling. Yeah, I'm OCD.

alright so the plan is that i am meeting neon4life at his house on thursday morning and we will be leaving from richmond....which is about an hr and a half from indy (doing the speed limit)....so if ne one wants to meet at my house in indianapolis to stretch their legs or whatever.....text me and let me know your coming and then we will head to richmond...317-287-9336....id like to get this all straightenend out asap thanks guys

yes we are planning on leaving Thursday...i will be leaving indy round 7:30 am to head to manny's (neon4life) so that will put me there bout 9 and go from there
