The last time I washed my car for the annual meet was the 2nd annual meet. The 3rd annual I hit it with quick detailer and the 4th annual I didn't do anything.

The 2nd annual event was in 2007, I was still driving the car very regularly until Feb 2008.

I took first last year

I was hoping for a first this year, my parents were actually hoping too for all the work i've done the past few months. But it was too damn hot to clean the car so I figured it was a losing chance.
All in all despite the small issues, everything was a blast

I took 1st in my class last year with 2 1st gens placing 1st and 2nd. This year I took 3rd with 2 1st gens taking 1st and 2nd. Pretty much a complete flip, but I'm just happy to be honored at all! One thing I've learned from being on the show circuit over the years is to never take anything for granted. As soon as you do, you're setting yourself up to be sorely disappointed. Just do it for yourself and take any recognition as added gratification.

I think if my car was more complete she would have gotten a little more attention not that Im complaining...she got a LOT more than I expected..

Now I may be looking into doing a 5 speed swap as an srt swap wont be for a little while...So that should waske up the car a tad bit more and make it more fun to drive ...

I took my recyclables to the drop-off site after work tonight and found the beer bottle from Thursday evening at the HW. Thanks again to BRR for the beer, especially since Canada forgot to bring me some real Canadian beer (just picking on you, Canada

Gramps, was it one of the Michelob Limes? Thanks to Dante I'm hooked on them instead of the Bud limes

As for placing at Carlisle, I was not really counting on it, it would have been cool to place 2 years in a row though

Yep, Michelob Lime it was. Considering that it was my first beer since Carlisle '08, it was mighty tasty.

Even if you cant get another big 2gn meet. People should try to get local ones. I know we had a small one in toledo last year, we can always still set stuff up
