No, it was 2011 that I registered for the next year (2012) while we were there at the fairgrounds. I think that I registered for 2014 while I was on the phone with Carlisle Events registering for 2013. I doubt that I can get a number lower than 2 (my number this year) so no more shenanigans like this in the future.

Think I might try to make this one year. I'd probably take some vacation and head up to New York after to visit my aunt. 1,186 miles from my house to the fairgrounds though..maybe in a couple years.

You'd be the new furthest member. The reigning distance champion is about 1050 miles.

To you guys who say your car is too stock or too ugly to go.. Noone cars what it looks like. We all just go to have fun and be with fellow neon owners. I sometimes forget there's a car show going on while on the show field. Haha

I just went through last year's goodie bag (yes, it was still lying on the floor next to my computer... where it has been- untouched- for a year). After seeing the (blank) voting sheet, I got to thinking that maybe I should spend a little time out of our tent this year and actually walk around to vote.

This!

Wait until you see how flawlessly some of these "stock" Neons have been maintained. There are some stock daily drivers in that class that are absolutely showroom shape. I appreciate them in all forms. If Gramps didn't go all "I need coilovers" on his car, it would be reigning king of the stock class.

I purposely didn't lower my car before Carlisle to keep it stock, rocking that lifted truck status

I still can't believe the Saturday in 2012 it was 101 at the showfield and 103 at the hotel. I wish I would have taken a screenshot of weather.com that day.

Is it roughly the same weekend every year? If so I'll be off for it next year and can probably make it then. Definitely not this year though, still catching up from my last repair.

Never...you can register at the gate when you arrive. It just costs a little more money.

You can try registering online. I did after the cut off date and it went through. My CC got charged. Whether or not I get it mailed is another matter.

If I don't see it by Wednesday, I'll probably call to see if they mailed it, or what my options are.

edit:
Tho at this point, I would do it over the phone. Either they will register you or tell you otherwise.
