Out of the car game...

Post by LowNSlow » Tue Jan 29, 2008 11:39 pm

Back into my offroad game....

More relaxing...more legal... same fun.. same adrenaline rush..

I find myself not caring bout running 11s in the quarter... or hauling ass in a car.... we'll see. I'll eventually have another car. I am enjoying this Samurai though...

It's a 86 with the following:

- 33x12.5 TRXUS MTs
- 15x8 White spoke US wheels W/2.5 BS
- Trail Tough Hybrid rear axle W/ 5.12 gears & spool
- Lockright in front W/ 5.12 gears
- ARB Bull Bar
- Custom rear bumper
- Trail Tough 4.16 t-case
- Trail Tough Missing Link in front W/ CJ hybrid leafs
- Trail Tough 2" Bone shackles in rear W/ CJ hybrid leafs
- Trail Tough Cross over steering
- New 2" exhaust W/ Turbo muffler
- Custom 1/4" high clearance sliders
- 3" Deist Lap belt
- Cobra CB
- Weber Carb
- Header

Being locked front and rear.... I can put the front left tire on a tree... and climb up it till the zuk flops over...

This thing is a beast..

Here is a picture of my old Zuk I sold a few years back... painted by myself in the garage.. this one was a little too tall... and not as built up.

I want to get the wheels powdercoated black to match the whole red/black theme... we'll see...

I bet that is fun! A ton more legal than going fast. Looks good!

Brings me back from when I was in my single digits playing with RC cars and making dirty ramps with em.

Off course a real vehicle is better.

that looks like fun but i know it was just as fun shooting down the track, trapping an 11sec pass....lol

That's a Stomper!
I had those as a kid.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

Shooting down the track was fun... and I am sure I will build something up at a later date... I'm thinking possibly a 240.... but that can come later.

Just enjoying what I got for now....
